| Judaism's history is one of promise, devotion, wandering, persecution, and tradition. The story of Judaism begins some 3500 years ago during the mid second millenium B.C.E. (1500 B.C.) with a man namd Abram. Abram was a nomad in the land of Ur of the Chaldeas. According to the biblical narrative, God told Abram to leave Ur and move to a land called Canaan. God made a series of promises to Abram. |
