San Clemente Pier and "Tomas"

I love this pier and its great aesthetics. Of the few piers I've tried out, Balboa, Oceanside and SC, this one is the best.

It has a great charm.

Tomas is there practically every day. He's a nice old guy that really like the kids and he helps them to fish and lends them poles, etc. He has lots of stories too.

The extra pilings and boards are from repairs after half of the pier was destroyed in a storm in 1983.
