Somewhere along the line, I got the number 18-7070. This, as seen on the marysvillemarine site, goes to a R2/2GC carb but for a:
MCM 150

But curiously, the float part number is exactly the same as the one for the 18-7746

05/04/05, Just got off the phone with customer service over at Sierra. They say that the 7070, looks like the better kit. It has the accelerator pump where the 7746 doesn't. He says it is referenced as the kit for my carb, but also saw the 46 referenced in another section too.
He thinks it may be where the 7070 is more of a universal kit and has more parts, some I may not need.
Here's the 18-7746:
Here's the 18-7070:
I got this email too from Sierra Marine:
"Eric the correct carb kit is the 18-7070,it was check by your Rochester numbers in our cross reference section,
"Thank you _______@sierra-tech support.
In reply to my email:
"Dear Sirs:
"Is the 18-7070 carb kit the same as the 18-7746 carb kit? I notice that they both match up with a 18-7200 float.
"I am trying to find the right carb kit for my Rochester carb, serial number 7043184.
"I think the 18-7746 is correct, but wondered if I got the 18-7070 if there would be a problem.
"Thanks, Eric"
One thing I can tell you though, is the base gasket doesn't have the one cutout on it. Don't think it's important at all, but it doesn't have it in the 18-7070.
Dimensions are L58"xH15"xW6".
It is an above deck tank. Is there a current model replacement for this?
