For each pillow you will need:

• At least 2 different colors/designs of cotton or cotton blend WOVEN fabric
• Polyester fiberfill stuffing (NOT batting)
• A small spool of all-purpose thread (polyester or cotton-covered polyester)
  Optional: lace, iron-on letters, applique designs or other decorations
  

  Examples of acceptable cotton/cotton-blend fabrics: broadcloth, lightweight denim, polished cotton, and cotton flannel
  

  NO KNITS or 100% Polyester or Nylon or silky, slippery fabric can be used.

  NO FLEECE or polyester flanel for your major sewing project. You may buy fleece only if you choose to make a "no-sew scarf (1/4 or 3/8 yd. of 60" wide fleece should be adequate)
