South Coast and Southern Section  Fall Conference

was held on October 27-29, 2006

The Theme was

Over 200 people attended the conference and were able to choose from 40 different workshops.  Our own Glenda Lopez was the guest speaker for the Sunday morning workshop.  Her workshop was titled "CCAE is In Tune with Feng Shui", congrats Glenda.  Others from our chapter who did workshops were: Brenda Rivas, Tina Long, Heck Thomas, Janice Roselius, Teresa Loftis, and Marcia Lewis.  The theme baskets were a huge hit.  Some of the pictures below may be a little blurry, so please be kind to the photographers whoever they were.

Registration began at 9:00 on Friday morning.  It was a lot of work but it was fun as well.  We got it do on time.

 

 

The Friday BBQ was great.  The food was good and the company was good as well

 

All of the attendees from San Bernardino Chapter, along with other dignitaries', were invited to a Recognition Gathering in Annette Becks' room (hers was better than mine).  It was a congratulation to the winners of the CALCO Teaching Award -- Brenda Rivas and the Meritorious Service Award -- Teresa Loftis.  In attendance was: Tom Donahue, Glenda Lopez, Phyllis Bartleman and her husband, Karen Castille, Lorrie Christie, Jennifer and David Oberhelman, Teresa Loftis, Brenda Rivas and guest Barry, Annette and John Beck, Don Dutton from Sweetwater, Charlene Bader Southern Section President, Janice Roselius and Heck and Barbara Thomas. Not Pictures was Susan DelaCruz.

Our Awardees

The awards dinner had good food, good music and it looks like everyone enjoyed themselves as well.  A great ending to a great conference.

Finally came Glenda's presentation on Feng Shui.  Sorry for the picture Glenda. Don Dutton won Glenda's Basket.
