Tips and Tricks to make the game easier --------------------------------------- This is just a collection of tips and tricks to make some of the dificult, tedious, and dreaded missions a little bit easier. I, in no way, am trying to take credit for finding any/all of these tricks. I merely pooled them into one easy to use guide. Contact Info email: nelsonj1998@yahoo.com AIM: nelsonj1998 YIM: nelsonj1998 That said, onto the list... --------------------------------------- --- Vigilante --- You can complete the R3 mission "Vigilante" without killing a single enemy. Once you are in a police type vehicle (any will work) press R3 and head toward your nearest fast food restaurant. When you exit the vehicle and enter the restaurant, the vehicle the criminal is in will be destroyed thus killing the criminal (It may not be destroyed immediately so wait a few seconds). Now exit the building and return to the police vehicle to start the next level. I should point out that sometimes when you enter the building it does not destroy the vehicle and you have to go back to your vehicle and then try it again. Do not give up though. Even though it does not kill the criminal every time it is consitent enough to complete the vigilante mission all the way through level 12 (in fact I have made it as high as level 16 with this trick). Also, take note that each time you enter the restaurant, you will only destroy one vehicle. This means that when you are on level 12 and there are 3 vehicles with 4 criminals in each, you will have to do the trick 3 times (once for each vehicle). --- Jump and Stoppie --- When you leave the line, press forward on the left analog stick just enough to make CJ lean down and this will give you enough speed to jump all the way to the cones. Just land on your front wheel inside the cones and then set the bike down. No more trying to drive the wobbly ass bike into the cones without spinning around. --- Easy progress with Barbara --- Every time you blow yourself up by driving a car into the Xoomer's gas station near here house you will gain percentage with Barbara without the hassle of taking her on date. --- Keycard without dating Millie --- If you don't want to have to date Millie to get the Keycard, Just kill Millie and some time later, you will be able to pick up the keycard at her house. --- Easy Hitman Level with any weapon --- To increase your level with any weapon, just stock up on ammo and shoot the tires of any car. Even after you pop the tire every bullet you fire at it counts toward increasing your stat with that weapon. Better yet, go out to the middle of nowhere and do this and you will avoid any type of wanted level. --- Stop a rival gang from attacking --- If your territory comes under attack from a rival gang and you are unable/too busy to defend it, just go to a savepoint and save. Aternately, if you are wasted or busted while the area is under attack the attack will stop, though this may be less conveniet for you. --- Pilot License before Pilot school --- You can enter the airports without completing pilot school by jumping onto the gaurd shack from the top of any vehicle you park in front of it. Do this at the airport in Los Santos and you can jack a Shamal. Fly the Shamal out to sea and once you reached level fligh you can release the controls. Now just sit back and let the plane fly itself for approx. 30-40 minutes(real time) and you will receive your Pilot's License granting you access to all of the airports. --- Unlimited Time for NRG-500 Challenge aand BMX Challenge --- When doing either of these challenges, Let the timer run down until it's near 0. As soon as it hits zero, drive through a checkpoint. You'll get the bonus time, but now the mission timer is gone and you can take as much time as you need. It may take a few tries to get it to work, because if you go to slow through the checkpoint after the timer runs out, the mission ends. --- More money than you can spend in a GTAA lifetime --- Start by saving your game. Now go to an "Inside Betting Track" and bet all of your money on the horse with the worst odds (usually 11/1 or 12/1). If the horse wins, you just made yourself more than 10 times your bet. If the horse looses, then just reload your game and try again. Keep in mind that you are betting on a horse that is only expected to win once out of every 11 or 12 races so you may have to do this a few times.
