Working as Switch Manager at Ambala Cantt. for Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd’s NLD Switch. My work is to implement VSNL’s NLD Plans(Switching) at Ambala Cantt.. My Activity include mainly:

Operation and the Maintenance of Alcatel 1000 E10 MM switch at VSNL, Ambala NLD installation. To create circuits circuits and implement routing plans as per HQ orders.
To conduct POI(Switch and Transmission) for ILD and NLD tests with BSNL and other telecom carriers
To act as head of Station and to look after all VSNL activities(Switching and related) in Ambala Cantt.
To prepare the sites for the installation of Switch and Transmission Equipment and the Support System for that.
Liasoning with External agencies like Electricity authorities and municipality to get various clearances for the installation
Liasoning with BSNL and other private telecom operators for the POI connectivity.
To get the Switch(Alcatel 1000 E 10MM ) installed and commissioned and conduct its Acceptance Testing
To get the Power System(75 kVA) Equipments with SMPS and UPS Batteries installed, conduct the Acceptance Testing and commission the same.
To get the Transmission Equipment installed, conduct its AT and commission the same at Ambala and Shimla
To conduct the Transmission Testing and get the NLD POP for various stations in Haryana and HP for DoT approval with assistance from HQ
