Gaspworld Groups
Adventure Guild
Headed up by Jocomo, this is the Guild that the Party are members of. The guild has given the party many opportunities to make money.
Body Guild
This Guild is very secretive and illusive. Many believe it doesn't even exist.
Although not openly spoken of the absolute ruling power is the Body guild. If anyone is asked they will claim ignorance to the existence of the Body guild but the body parts are often spoken of. The hand is made up of fingers and when brought together they form the fist. There are arms, legs, head and at it�s center the heart and soul. The fingers are made up of small time crooks and pick pockets but work or are called together and are referred to fists. The Arms are enforcers and money collectors. The legs are messengers and scouts. The Head are the various leaders of these groups. The Heart rules the head and no one knows who the Soul is but many believe who ever it is truly rules the land.
Dark Mages of the Savage Land
A shadowy group that doesn't seem altogether good. Nyphystra is a member of the darkmages.
Fire Elementalists
These free elves are normally known to worship nature but very loosely without the regimentation of religion. They dress all in white and have lanterns hanging from thier wrists. The lanterns are lit during day or night. The council of 9 paid the adventurers to investigate this group because they are not paying the normal taxes associated with preaching in the streets of Diev.
So far the party thinks they might be from the Island of the Gods since they heard a rumour of the Island being illuminated, seen from accross the ocean. They also think that this group had something to do with the burning down of a small spice village close to Stormshire.
They know that they are responsible for the burning of one of thier "converts" and the church with him. They think there might have some relevence to them later seeing someone gathering up the ashes of the convert.
They seem to worship Fire or an Elemental of Fire, but Ezekiel noticed that all of the magic cast at Bill (for pissing them off) was Elemental Magic and not divine. Ezekiel also thinks that a lantern was the cause of the intense magical fire that caused the temple to burn so hot.
The Fire Elementalists were last seen leaving to the north of Diev.
The Squad
Not much is known of the Squad in Devon. It is thought that they were run from the governer's authority, but he is dead now. They seem to be working with the Council of Devon. There are many questions about this group. They are a bunch of assassins that have deadly poisoned weapons, and are very tough.
Hammermen of Thor
(Tharn)"Do you think you could use this and hit an orc in the face?"
(Farmer)"Yes I can do that."
In Devon this Militia was formed by Tharn. Thier number is growing. They are made up of common men. Mostly farmers, this group is unskilled but has potential to grow. The Militia was formed mostly to put up some defense against future attacks on the outside of the City Walls where the poorer folk live.
Tharn before going into the North to attend to the Original Thor Temple set out an order like this:

5 Generals of Thor to each Defender
10 Commanders of Thor to each General
10 Captains of Thor to each Commander
10 Hammermen of Thor to each Captain
So each Defender of Thor would be in charge of a maximum number of 5,000 Militia Men of Thor.
The Underground
The Underground was run out of businesses that were loyal to King Fredrick. They were an "underground" movement that tried to return the King to power and get rid of the evil Prince Aldric. The Underground helped the party to rescue the King. Since the King's return, they have gone back to life as normal.
