. SOME . NUDE . DUDE .
This thing I finished sometime early 2001 during my senior year. I would say this was my first 'big' project that I decided to do on my own. It wasn't apart of the class' assignment, but I was getting kinda bored so I guess this is the product from my boredomness. This thing is actually a bank, really! There's a slot I added atop of his head big enough for the half-dollar coins! This sculpture is completely hollow but it's still pretty heavy. There's always that limitation of keeping it hollow, otherwise, I'd have more freedom to make him more realistic. Since the time I did this, I've become more observant and I could do a much better job at replicating a figure. I took beginning sculpture here at college, so I've been trained to see. I'm just approximating now, but I believe he stands about a foot high.
