CHRIS AND JILL WENT UP THE HILL TO KILL A COUPLA ZOMBIES!
Here they are, Chris and Jill, two heros of Resident Evil!  For this piece, I used Verithin Color Pencils ~95% of the time to color the peice.  The other 5% was Prismacolor.  This drawing is probably the most proprtionately, anatomically correct drawing I have up thus far.  The reason is because I was aiming for a more realistic look to coincide with the super realistic graphics of the game.  But what throws this off is the grand pink background, haha!  Oh yeah, I don't know exactly why I chose that color, but oh well.  Who's gonna complain when the foundation of the drawing is already attractive?  I did rush some thing here though, and yeah, I'd re-do some things if I could get this drawing back.  For example, I'd add something to the plain background,  darken some shades... Oh, something else I was aiming to do was have more control over my coloring.  You see, if you take a look at my GOLDEN SUN piece,  you'll see that there is a lot of color gradients, meaning gradually changing colors.  I wasn't going for that, but it happened anyway.  I was taken away and I couldn't control it.  So, what I did here was I used strictly 3, THREE, tones of each color.  No more, no less. This way, I'm getting what I hope for.  So how much accurately drawn are the characters to the original creation of CAPCOMFar from perfect.  I don't know if I have the eye colors correct, but each person's eye sure do match their clothing colors, which I thought worked out swell. Also, each person here were drawn from magazine models or celebrities that I had in my head while drawing.  Chris' hair actually came from my classmate Phillip D's hair style which influenced me a lot.  Um, and I also had to refer to the game pictures, too.
