Q. What is MiloTeam?
A. MiloTeam is a group of close friends working together or seperately to create stories and comics in order to entertain both each other and others.
Q. Who is a part of MiloTeam?
A. MiloTeam is composed of Will Boyer (that's me), Tommy Gray, Justin, Phillip, Preston, and Aharon (Elites31).
Q. What is the history of MiloTeam?
A. In 1994, my brother, Robert, got a pet cat which we named Milo after the cat in the movie "Milo and Ottis." Inspired by the Jim Davis' Garfield comic strips, I began Milo comics which starred a cat much like Garfield, except ... different. I asked my friends to help me, and in the following years we worked on the Milo comics by developing well loved characters, unique places, strange things, and humorous events. Finally, in about 1998 (unclear date), the "team" was given the name MiloTeam.
Q. What kinds of projects has MiloTeam worked on?
A. We have probably started more projects than we have completed. But what things we have worked on, either alone or as a group, include Milo or character related comic books, Milo comic strips, a Milo baby book, video games, stories, non-Milo related comic issues, and one Samurai Milo newspaper strip (so far). None of our work has ever been published, though a newspaper company did look at some of our earliest work. We do, however, have a copyright. (Milo, Samurai Milo, and all related characters are copyright Will Boyer 2004, or belong to their respectful owners. You may not use the stories or images found on this site or any of the neighbor/associate sites home to the Cat Ronin).
Q. What is the future of MiloTeam?
A. Hard to say. My future has spontaneously been changed from Cartoonist to Missionary. So, does MiloTeam have a future? MiloTeam is not just a company name, it is the people. As long as my friends have a future, MiloTeam does. But if MiloTeam, AS A COMIC STUDIO with myself as President, has any future, it will most likely have to do with my future ministry, depending upon God's will for my life. But for now, since I'm in college, cartooning has become a side hobby. I'll just keep working and drawing and see what happens. Sayonara! |
