"THE PLAYERS"
There are 53 characters portrayed in PAIN, and while most of them are extras, there are many who play substantial roles.  The following are just a few of the unique and memorable players.
                                       Martin Michaels
Martin,  an  unemployed laborer, needs money, and he needs it fast.  His bills are  piling  up  and  he  has  no  money  to  pay  them.  That's when the idea of staging  a  car  accident  to  claim  for fake injuries occurs to him.  Can Trevor prove  his  injuries  are  fake?   Martin  also  hooks up with another unsavory character, and they start an illegal business venture on the side.  Can Trevor put a stop to the venture before lives are lost?
                                         Bryce Holmes
Bryce is a librarian who has two passions in his life, books and cars.  While he has  many  books  in  his  home library, he doesn't have a car.  That is, until he meets  a  retired civil servant who is dying of cancer.  The man's dying wish is to  find  a  suitable  owner  for  his beloved Cadillac Eldorado, an owner who'll love  the  car  as  much  as  he  does.   He finds that person in Bryce, who has wanted an Eldorado for as long as he can remember.  Does Bryce continue to live  a  solitary life after he purchases the car, or does the purchase mark the start of a wild journey that includes chop shops and police line-ups?
                                     Brenda Carmichael
Brenda is a confident yet inexperienced claim adjuster who's partnered with Trevor  so  she  can  get  some  experience  in  the  field.  Trevor has always worked alone and he's not crazy about taking on a rookie partner, especially one  who  thinks  she's  the  best  thing  in  the  investigative world.  Brenda, who's  a very attractive lady, suspects Trevor only wants one thing from her, and   it   doesn't   involve   the   investigation.   Will  Brenda  learn  from  this experience, or will her techniques jeopardize the entire case?
                                      Christie Chambers
Christie  was  a  young  hairdresser when the owner of a once legitimate auto body shop found her.  He convinced her the sky was the limit when it came to making  money,  and  she eagerly agreed to join his operation.  Unfortunately, she doesn't get along with his right hand man, and this creates tension in the work  place.   Does  Christie  have  a  thick  enough  skin  to  survive her new occupation,  or  does  she  decide  to  venture  out  on  her own and compete against the man who'd taught her the ropes?
                                       Todd Smitherman
Todd is a young, unemployed high-tech genius who can't find a job in his field. With  substantial  student  loan  debt  hanging  over  his  head,  he  reluctantly agrees  to  help  a former  co-worker  carry out a plan that would solve both of their  financial  woes.   Does  Todd  have the stamina to pull off the scheme, or does he crack under pressure and become Trevor's informant?
                                           Eric Sage
Eric  is  a  veteran police officer who's partnered with a rookie officer from another  country.   While  mentoring the fellow officer, Eric fails to notice a vital fact that would make an otherwise routine case anything but.   Can he salvage his reputation and end his career on a high, or will the case haunt him long after retirement?
