| Luckily, I ran into these guys from California and rode with them until I got sick. From left to right: Ed, a surprisingly strong, but incredibly irritable retired military type; Fu-Ping, an easy going and successful software designer from Taiwan; and Andrew, a very cool guy who had traveled all over the world by bike. I later found out that Andrew was the only one of the group that made it to the Mexican border. | |||||||||||||||

| This was the third major snowed in pass in Montana. It took 3 hours to travel 2 miles through the snow. The mountainside was steep so it was difficult to keep my trailer from wanting to go downhill. I fell 30 feet down the mountainside along with my bike. Luckily it was in the snow and not over rocks. | |||||||||||||||
