Below is information that you will need to know prior to you buying your next puppy. You will find information pertaining to the difference between an ethical and a Unethical breeder. Please read.
As stated on our Home Page, we do not support the operations of any puppy mills, unethical breeders, and commercial puppy stores. On the bottom of this page are Links to WebSites that include information that you should review prior to the purchase of your next puppy.
Ethical Breeders Ethical breeders are breeders that CARE about the dogs that they breed along with the very best care for their puppies. They will ensure that the mother is well taken care of whether it be food, water, medications, and or regular Vet visits. Ethical breeders also hold and obtain excellent records on the care throughout the breeding and birth stages. From beginning to end. They will also provide buyers with precise, and very informative information on both mom and dad. Information should include a health guarantee, a contract, and other bonding infomation. The ethical breeder will stand by you through the life of the puppy. If you should come up against problems, whether health or behavior, they will be there for you to help you overcome your problem. Ethical Breeders are also into breeding their specialty breed for the love of it, not for the money.
Unethical Breeders This is the type of breeder you would want to stay far, far away from. As far as possible. This type of breeder uses their female dogs as breeding machines for profit. The links below will provide you with a more in-depth look at this type of breeder, and things for you to look out for while in search for your next puppy. Puppy mills, backyard breeders, and pet stores (Yes pet stores) fall under this category. The condition of these facilities are so low grade it is unbelievable. See, puppies are raised (if you want to call it that) at a puppy mill in large, very large quantities, and trucked to your local neighborhood pet store. The pet store than raises the cost of the pup $300 to $400 each before placing on the showroom floor. All you see is the end product. A cute little puppy. What you don't see is the way they got there. 80% of those puppies have been so neglected from birth, diseased, and who else knows what went on. The bottom line is stay away from these breeders and pet stores. If you buy from one of them, your just supporting their cause, and making them rich. They will lie and betray you just to make an extra buck. So please beware.
Well, here are the links that I mentioned to you above. Please go to these links and please take note of what's out there. A lot of the information from these WebSites I was not aware of. It is a great eye opener. Please read them. Also, if you feel that you have been taken or have visited a possible puppy mill, please e-mail us and let us know. There is a group of us that are uniting together to put a stop to such unethical breeding facilities. If we can't stop them, we will make sure they are exposed to the public. For all to see. If you should be an unethical breeder and this hits home with you, step back and look at what your doing to not only the puppies, but also to the families they are being sold to. We will make sure no one buys from you again! So please e-mail us if you should have comments, questions, or if you are a breeder that would like to unite with us to help the fight against the puppy mills. Thank you in advance for your support.
