Posted by SAMS_60 3/2/2001 This is a condensed message that jhr sent to all members concerning some problems that have came to his attention and threats made against all members of sams for the actions of one or more of our members . I am sending this to you all so you know that we are a target for some of this kind of thing because we are a large team and there are some of you that have brought it on us. I am not trying to thin team out in any way i want everyone to still be a member but i want the actions that bring this kind of treatment from others to stop. part of being a member of this team is the respect we had when some of you joined. although we were small we were known for being respectful & courteous towards each other and our fellow drivers. this is what the team was built on and it will continue to be this way or i will ask you to resign and drop the SAMS tag from your name. if you are in a race with someone you have had problems with i expect him to be treated with respect and not intentionally badgered or harassed. this is the way i would race with him and since this is my team i expect the same from the drivers on my team. if a report of one of you acting any other way comes to me i will approach the board of directors for SAMS and a decision will be made then, i will not act on my own. if any of you feel you cant abide by this please do us all a favor and just resign. although you would be missed if you did i/we would understand and not hold it against you. thank you jhr/SAMS_20

hi everyone,
Just wanted to write a quick message to everyone. I just wanted to remind people to be nice while in race. Meaning, that people should not be putting down others in any way, bad mouthing each other or a nonSAMS driver, and of course finally a SAMS driver will NEVER EVER WRECK ANYONE ON PURPOSE (Of course this does not apply when people start off by bashing us, but remember to be nice, and not go overboard and above all do not wreck anyone intentionally). By trying to wreck somebody when they are being an idiot you may accidentally wreck somebody else who isn't.

What do I mean? hmm...good question... I mean no name calling, cussing at other drivers, and trash talking. Sometimes it is warranted, but remember, we are all representatives of this lovely team. What one person does while wearing the tag reflects on all of us. Image means a lot in this game...remember that...Image meaning, our skill, and personalities.

Why am I writing this? Man, you guys ask all the good questions...you are all so smart and wonderful...I love you guys(gal) :) Anyhow, I am writing this, so you can all keep it in the back of your head, and be nice to people, even when you feel like shit, or they are acting extremely stupid and wrecking others intentionally. Keep your cool, and maintain your attitude...Whoop their ass in-race, and not in chat. Typing only decreases your effectiveness in the race.

Anyhow, this is just a friendly reminder from your favorite babbler
