120mls milk
20 grams sugar
vanilla essence

2 clip lock plastic bags (1 large, 1 small)
What you do
1/2 fill the large plastic bag with crushed ice.
add the salt.
Put the plastic bag with the salt and ice mixture into an icecream container (in case it spills).
Put the milk, vanilla and sugar into the small plastic bag. Seal the bag tightly.
Place the small bag inside the large bag containing the salt and ice mixture. Seal the large bag.
Shake and move the bags about until the mixture inside the small bag turns to icecream.
What 'changes of state' have occurred in making the icecream?
