I sold my Ensoniq EPS in '99 after I had
acquired the Akai and Kurzweil samplers.
(
I just don't have a need for four samplers)
--correction: I bought the Yamaha A3000 and
SU700 samplers...so I guess I do have a
use for 5 samplers ; )

The info that will be contained on this page has been  imported from the previous web site I was running and may not be updated aside from that.

Although I no longer own the Ensoniq, I
may still be able to help
answer any
questions you have.

Note: You will need the Giebler EDE
file below to get the OS from your
PC to a disk.

EPSDisk. You need this to get .wavs to EPS floppy. See my "TIPS" link below on how best to use it.
For now, the stuff on this page is going to
link to my old page. It will be transferred
here soon.
Using high-density floppies in place of rare, double-density floppies:
-WARNING-
This method may yield less reliable disks,
so make backups!

When looking at the high-densify (HD)
floppy face up with the holes at the
top, place a piece of tape over the
left hole (not the "write-protect" one),
covering both sides of the hole.
Make sure you're very neat about this
because you don't want the tape to
gum up your rare disk drive.

This makes the drive use the disk as
if it were a DD disk.
HD disks are made differently than
DD disks and, although I don't know
the specifics, are supposedly less reliable
when used as DD disks. I've never had
a problem, but heed the warning and
make backups or risk losing your
samples over time & use.
