I think it takes a special person to bypass requesting a two month old puppy that looks like it's bound for Westminster and accept an older, not so perfect dog. This dog, a stray at one of the LA County shelters was estimated to be 7 ys old and 30 lbs overweight. She also had a matted and dirty coat.
Her adopters saw beyond that and welcomed her into their
family based on the above photo. And then, within a just a few days, I recieved the photo below. . And She's beautiful!
This is now one of my favorite Before & After photos!
Her new name is Neoma.
Her vet states she's just 5 years old!
