October 2000 March Of Dime Walk:
The March Of Dime Walk is an annual event in which Heald College usually participated. Fund Raising Activities and donations were collected which helped the college met its goal of $3,000. Mrs. Kop, Dean Of Students is the coordinator with the help of volunteers made this event a success. The March Of Dime Opening ceremonies attracted alot of VIPs from the state with opening remarks by Governor Cayotano and Mayor Harris.
The Walk started from the Waikiki Shell parking lot through the Ala Wai channel to the Ala Moana Blvd to the Ala Moana Beach Park back through Ala Moana Blvd to Kalakaua Ave towards Ala Wai channel back to the Waikiki Shell Parking Lot.
