Justin’s strong gaze never wavered. His blue eyes stayed locked on his ex-boyfriend as he moved across the stage.

The slim frame of Josh Chasez glided across the stage perfectly in time with the music pumping through the sound system. He moved naturally, seemingly effortlessly.

Justin knew better. His band mate worked hard to nail each choreographed move. The steps were tiring, working the body in every way possible. Josh’s t-shirt clung to his chest and abdomen with the sweat his body had accumulated.

Josh glanced up catching Justin’s gaze on him. He hadn’t been aware of his friends presence.

*You know that they often say...

That love is blind

My heart can’t see*

“Stop watching me...” he said softly. His body coming to a complete stop swiftly.

“Why? I like watching you Josh....” Justin answered truthfully. He did enjoy watching his friend. He could watch him an eternity and never get bored.

“Because... *I* said SO...” Josh’s tone was harsh. It carried an assertiveness with it he rarely used. Never had it been directed at his younger friend.

*The reason why you left that love behind is hurting me

Is there a chance that we can be again?*

Justin’s eyes filled with unexpected tears. He climbed to his feet glaring at his friend. He walked swiftly from the stage. Once out of eye sight he took off in a heated sprint, tears spilling from his eyes. He collapsed on the dressing room couch sobbing into his own hands.

Josh felt his heart constrict. He was so angry for so many reasons. He was hurt... but he also missed his best friend.. His boyfriend... his lover.

*Hold my head up

Wipe the tears

I’m not crying for you no more*

Justin didn’t hear his friend’s quiet entrance. Suddenly hands were on his face, caressing away the tears.

“Josh?” he questioned, forcing his tired eyes open. Blue eyes stared back. He noticed the same conflicting emotions inside them.

“I’m sorry Justin... for everything... the fight... the way I’ve been acting... I didn’t man to hurt you... I don’t want us to be over Curly, 2 years isn’t long enough...”he whispered. “I still love you..”

“Really?” Justin questioned. Josh nodded. “I love you too...” Josh’s arms wrapped around him in a tight embrace. They were both smiling for what felt like the first time in months. “I’m sorry too Josh... does this mean we’re back together?” Josh smiled nodding gently.

“If you want to be..”

“Definitely!” Justin answered quickly, causing Josh to laugh. Then suddenly their lips were pressed together in a tight kiss.

*So don’t go away....
