My sister and I found Sam wandering across six lanes of traffic at 9 o'clock at night, one summer about 10 years ago. We took her home and scoured the newspapers for a week, figuring someone would put something in the lost and found column, but they didn't and the rest is history! Our mom said 'no more pets' but once she looked into Sam's pretty brown eyes, she was in love! I dress her up in a cute red baseball hat when I take her for walks, and she is a hit with everyone that meets her!
