We'd always had dogs in our house, but not cats. My dad trained English Pointers but they weren't family pets, they were trained to hunt. Dixie came along and changed all that! She wasn't a great hunting dog, but she was an amazing pet. She was my baby, and I adored her. She was only with us for about 7 years, but she is never forgotten. Her picture makes up the background for my dogs page.
