SAM KANE

Sam trained for three years at the Liverpool Theatre school where he attained, with honours, his LAMDA award and Guildhall Speech and Drama award in Mime, Drama and Teaching.

Straight from college, he played the role of John, a TV producer in Bread. Sam then joined the No. 1 tour throughout the UK and Japan, of Roger and Hammerstein�s,
SOUTH PACIFIC, starring Gemma Craven and Bertice Reading.  And enjoyed returning to musicals in 2000, heading the cast of CAROUSEL, as �Jigger Craigin� alongside Darren Day in the National tour. 

In 2001 Sam joined a sell-out national tour of
SEVEN BRIDES FOR SEVEN BROTHERS in which he played the lead role of �Adam Pontipee�.

In May 2002 he appeared in
WOMEN ON THE VERGE OF HRT at The Belgrade Theatre, Coventry with Joanna Monro and Pauline Daniels.

At the End of August 2002, Sam started a National Tour of
BOOGIE NIGHTS where he played the role of Roddy O'Neill with Sophie Lawerence and Kev Orkian.

Summer 2003 and Spring 2004 has seen Sam back in the Musical
Carousel, but this time playing the role of Billy Bigelow.

Sam is probably most recognisable from his role as �Peter Phelan�, the philandering hairdresser in
BROOKSIDE, in which he featured over two years and from his recently acclaimed character �Gary Adams� in CORONATION STREET.

Sam posses the most wonderful singing voice and is a big part of Sam�s career and he was delighted to be asked to appear with London Philharmonic Orchestra in a �Valentine�s Day Concert� both at the Barbican, London and The Birmingham Symphony Hall.

In parallel to his acting career, Sam has also presented
SOAP FEVER for Granada Television when Liza Tarbuck was on vacation and also enjoyed regular appearances on the TV TRAVEL SHOP.  Sam was also the boy�s team captain on Channel 5�s popular show NIGHT FEVER for the last two series.  Other shows Sam has appeared on include BLANKETY BLANK, WISH YOU WERE HERE and the Celebrity Christmas Special of GLADIATORS and FORT BOYARD.

Sam has enjoyed numerous pantomimes during the Christmas Seasons such as
SNOW WHITE in Darlington, Nottingham, Wimbledon and Cardiff, GOLDILOCKS & THE THREE BEARS and ROBIN HOOD in Wolverhampton.

2002 was a busy year for Sam, in August he headled the national tour of �
BOOGIE NIGHTS� playing the lead role of �Roddy� and from that goes to the Civic Theatre Darlington to direct and star in SNOW WHITE for the 2002/03 season alongside his wife Linda Lusardi who plays the Wicked Queen.

Christmas 2003 saw Sam once again alongside Linda, Directing and strring in
SNOW WHITE at the Churchill Theatre, Bromley

Away from his hectic show business schedule Sam enjoys a busy family life: together with Linda he devotes all his spare time to their two children Lucy and Jack.
