Deposit needed to reserve pup, along with signing of the contract. Balance due in full before delivery.

GUARANTEES:

1. This dog is purebred, pedigree is correct, & is registerable with the AKC. Registration application sent upon payment in full. Pedigree is supplied by breeder along with registration papers.

2. This dog is healthy on delivery. It has been wormed, vaccinated, and examined by a veterinarian. When shipped by air, a vet health certificate will accompany the pup. Any illness is to be confirmed within 72 hours of arrival, after which point the health of the dog becomes the buyer’s responsibility.

3. This dog is guaranteed against crippling hip dysplasia for 30 months from date of birth. If sold on full registration, this dog is guaranteed to pass OFA hip certification. (Hip ex-rays must be taken and submitted before the age of 2 1/2 and BEFORE breeding this dog to qualify for guarantee - breeding before OFA Certification nullifies this guarantee.)

These guarantees apply to original purchaser only and are NOT transferrable. The breeder/seller reserves the right to a second vet opinion. All relevent vet records MUST be supplied to seller upon request. When cause of death is unknown, an autopsy must be performed at the expense of the buyer.
If the buyer can demonstrate the dog’s failure to fulfill these guarantees, the breeder/seller agrees to replace the dog with a pup of similar value. Buyers may keep the dog, but must spay or neuter and will not recieve replacement puppy until proof is provided.

BUYER’S LIABILTY AGREEMENTS:
1. Buyer agrees to provide puppy a kind and loving environment, with proper care and necessary veterinarian care.

2. Buyer agrees to take puppy through an obedience class by 4- 8 months of age. The importance of Obedience class for a German Shepherd puppy cannot be stressed enough. The personality of a puppy is well developed by 4-6 months of age and improper socialization (or lack of) can/may result in an overly anxious/or fearful puppy when attempting socialization as a much older pup or adult.. A well- mannered puppy does NOT just happen, your puppy will become what you allow him/her to become.

3. Buyer agrees to keep the seller informed of their current address and phone for the life of the dog.

4. Buyer agrees to return the dog to the seller w/out receiving a refund in the event they cannot or choose not to keep the dog for any reason. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES IS THIS DOG TO BE SURRENDERED TO A SHELTER OR POUND!
Sometimes unforseen circumstances arise....divorce,loss of job,moving ect. I will always take back a dog should there ever be a reason you can no longer keep him/her.

5. Buyer agrees not to sell, trade, lease out, or give the dog away without written permission of the breeder/seller.

6. Buyer agrees to comply with all the local ordinances regarding the keeping of dogs, in addition to providing adequate food, water, housing, immunizations, health care, and humane treatment for this dog.

7. If the limited Registration agreement is checked in this contract, buyer agrees to have this dog altered by the age of 14 mos.

8. Buyer agrees NOT to keep this dog on a chain or tieout. Use of outdoor kennels should also be limited. (GSD’s are “people” dogs - they want to be WITH YOU!)

9. Buyer agrees to use the kennel name “Samira” as the dog’s first name in the AKC registration.

If the breeder/seller can document the buyer’s failure to keep these agreements, and so informs the buyer by certified mail, the buyer shall have 72 hours to return the dog to the breeder/seller at the buyer’s expense. If the buyer fails to do so, the seller shall have the LEGAL RIGHT to repossess this dog and get a signed AKC transfer application from the buyer without refunding any money. In addition, the buyer shall be responsible for any expenses incurred in the process of repossession (including legal fees and vet expenses to restore the dog to good health if necessary).

No other warrantees or guarantees (expressed or implied) are made with this sale.
