THIS IS A BIG BOY! TripleCrown Sam I Am call name "Sam" is a 2 year old male. He is black with a bit of white on his chest. He stands 28 inches at his withers. Sam is a bit of a softer coated giant. He has a face anyone would love. He loves to lean on me, lay at my feet. Sam loves to go for walks, I can take him about 3-4 times a week. Sam heals nicely by my left side when I walk him on a loose leash. He has very good house manners. He is just so wonderful. Sam is so willing to learn and please us that it makes it easy and is a pleasure to train. No matter where we go children, teens and adults stop to talk to us and pet Sam he loves it. He enjoys people and their warm attention. This is what happens when you properly socialize a giant with the correct temperament. Sam is magnificent. He seems to be a people magnet. Sam was taken to the dog park often, so he loves to socialize with diffeent dogs as well. Gets along really well with my giants. As a pup Sam was raised in a house with a mini Schnauzer and so he just loves little dogs it is as if the little dog is his own personal pet. Sam is also trained to do the following... Sam is well trained, sits on command and learned to ring chimes on the door knob to let his owners he needed to go potty, Sam also goes Potty on command if he needs to( that is great on days with weather extremes). Sma knows to loose leash walk, sit, down (lay), relax (flops over on his side), come, stay (stay is not perfect yet), wait, off, leave it, Shake with his right paw like any gentleman would. He does not bother us during our mealtimes. He does not jump up on people. Many commands were taught recently so he is still very willing to learn. He does understand "car ride" he loves riding around and running errands. Sam is so motivated by food that I think he could learn almost any thing. Sam barks appropriately; I don't think he barks a lot...not at even sound. The door bell or knocking, but he stops right away. I remembered him as a pup, he was chosen for the owners specifically for his temperament she wanted a possible therapy dog. He is what I thought he would be. A great dog, will make a wonderful working pet or just sweet companion and addition to a good family. He is very smart. Fast learning, well behaved. While Sam's ears still need to be worked, they will never stand up right like a cropped ear he is beautiful. His first owners did not post and tape them up enough and never asked for help although it was offered. WE LOVE SAM I AM... MW |
