| photoworld cup is an annual event amongst various local camera clubs affiliated with the federation of philippine photographers foundation (fppf). monthly competitions were held with various pre-scheduled topics or subjects, camera clubs and individuals were scored in the monthly contest and the year's accumulated points were tabulated. this results in the awards at the final day of photoworld manila convention held during the fourth week of January every year. the competition has a mixture of subjects ranging from topics such as nostalgia to avant-garde and mixed media and sometimes on-the-spot competitions when bigger events coincide with the schedule. its rules permits everything from traditional straight black and white to full-color mixed media as well as digital manipulations. |
