"PRISTINE LIFE"
"Water for Thirsty People" was the theme for the1996 World Water Day. A photograph similar to this shot on the same set-up won for me the first prize on the competition for the event. The set-up was done with a single light source, a speedlight was connected to the camera by a chord and placed directly in front of the model. The fast shutter speed allowed by the speedlight froze the water movement. A whole roll of film was exposed while the child reacts to a flowing water from a hose above. The model is my second child Leica Marie at 1 year old.
