Padmé Amidala

Born under the name Padmé Naberrie, Queen Amidala was the formal name of royal leader of Naboo. Padmé became an Apprentice Legislator at age 11, and by 14, was elected Queen of Naboo. During the Trade Federation attack of Naboo, Amidala helped Senator Palpatine's rise to power as Supreme Chancellor. When she traveled, Amidala encountered a young boy names Anakin Skywalker, a slave from Tatooine who was strong in the Force and was the one who brought destruction to the Trade Federation forces around Naboo. Padmé would later fall in love with Anankin when he became a young man, and she will become the mother of his two children, Luke and Leia.

When her term ended, Padmé was more than greatful to step down as Queen. But still wanting to help in public services, Padmé served Naboo and the new Queen as Senator, taking the position that was once held by Palpatine. In a galaxy undergoing threacherous changes, her reasons and rationality shone as a beacon of truth in an increasingly Senate. Padmé's beliefs led her to become a target for violent parties working outside the system. Her life was in danger once again, and so Padmé was offered protection by the Jedi Knights.
