| This is not exactly a Daunhauer tradition, so it did not feel right listing it in the traditions page, so I decide to entitle this page the Daunhauer tendency! Most of the Daunhauers have a tendency to be very musical. There are very few in my immediate family alone who did not play some form of musical instrument. My grandfather plays the piano and sings. My father plays guitar and piano, while both of my brothers play guitar. I play piano, sing, and am learning guitar. My uncle plays the drums; so does his son. My cousin Nicole also plays piano and dances. That is just my immediate family. The Daunhauers hail from Kentucky, and we have many distant relatives that are quite famous and successful in country and bluegrass music. |
