A little hobbit
Living in a little hobbit hole
Eating mushrooms with Merry,
Eating mushrooms they stole.
Pippin, not a common name,
Sounds like peppy or happy;
Reminds me of a sour laffy taffy.
Now Pippin, don't be shy
Introduce yourself.
What? Don't have time to tell?
An adventure you say,
And you must go today?
You must go with Merry, Frodo, and Sam
To bear the Ring from the evil man.
Well, when you come home,
I mean to the Shire,
Go to bed because you will be very tired.
