| This post is by Samwise: Back then, on that tragic day, we were not prepared for what was about to take place, the Pentagon, the twin towers, and Shanksville. It is a day we will always remember. Adults, teenagers, and children were affected that day. Some lost parents, brothers, sisters, grandparents, aunts, uncles, close friends, and other relatives. We were not prepared for this, but the question now is this: Are we safer? Some people say yes, and some say no. But what can we do to prevent another plane from hitting another building? The airports have better security, so we are safer. Those are some of the opinions of others. One of the positive sides of September 11th, is that people are more grateful for the things in life, and they appreciate family and friends more dearly. Even strangers act more kindly to each other. If you are reading this message, be thankful you weren't one of the victims of September 11th. God saved you, so thank Him in your prayers, and please pray for the heros of September 11th, whether they be someone who stopped to help someone else get out, even though they were still in danger, or the firefighters of New York. We will always remember, and we will never forget. ~Samwise |
