| Sean Patrick Astin was born on February the 25th, in the year of 1971 to John Astin and Patty Duke, who are both well-known actors. In 1973 Mackenzie was born. Mackenzie is Astin's only full-blood brother. His first film was entitled Please Don't Hit Me, Mom. He was only nine years old when he started this film. The next film he was in was The Goonies, in which he was thirteen years of age. Eventually, he went on to star in made-for-TV movies such as The B.R.A.T. Patrol and Water Summer with Kevin Bacon in 1987. He also played in Like Father, Like Son which earned him high interest from teens all across the United States. Eventually, in the year of 1990, he was cast in his first "adult film." He was the star of the film Memphis Belle. He later starred in the horror movie The Willies in 1991. This movie was seen by very few people. In 1992, Astin starred in Where the Day Takes You, as well as the comedy Encino Man with Pauly Shore and Brendan Fraser. In this year, however, something bigger than any film occured: the marrige to the lovely Christine on July 11th, 1992. They were wed at Sean's mother's house in Idaho. Soon after they spent their honeymoon together in Europe. (More is soon to come! Thanks for reading!) |
