Legolas's Gallery
The race of Elves is fair, and most seem have an airy voice. Legolas has extrodinary eyesight, he can see things that most other races cannot see from afar. For example, in The Two Towers book, Legolas sees a great bird in the sky that Aragorn and Gimli simply cannot see, though try they might. That is one of the reasons he makes such a wonderful bowsman.
Also, the race of Elves is very light-footed. A great place to notice is when Aragorn says, "Let's hunt some Orc." If you pay attention to the difference between Gimli's pounding feet, and to Legolas's graceful feet, you will notice how very different each race is, and how light Elves are upon their feet.
Another wondeful place to notice is on the mountain of Caradrhas. If you take a look at Legolas, he is the only one walking on top of the snow, and not sinking into it.
