What a fun night!  We invited kids from the Alpha meetings to come and join us at the Fireworks Festival.  It is actually a competition where different companies compete with their fireworks shows.  Each was choreographed to music.  Our favorite was the one done to one of the songs from "Swan Lake."  It was fantastic!  They had different fireworks for each part of the orchestra.  I've never seen anything like it.  It reminded me of Thunder over Louisville, but it was also different.  Some of the teams didn't do very well, but a few did a great job.  Unfortunately, because of the late hour (it didn't start until 10 p.m. because it doesn't get dark until then), we only had one kid from Alpha show up and he had to leave early.  But we had fun with the college leaders.  Here is a picture of us saving a space near the front line of soldiers.
