Kerri
After helping lead various mission trips to Russia and
Honduras, the Lord is calling me into full time ministry
with Student Venture. Spring 2006 was my sixth trip to
Moscow to help with the Student Venture English Camp.
It was during this trip that the Lord made it clear He
wanted me in Russia. When I got home, He further
confirmed His plans for me by closing the door on another
opportunity I was pursuing. Since then, I have been
making plans and preparing to depart for Moscow. God
has blessed me in numerous ways that have only served to
further confirm His desires for me.
I have made a one year commitment to Student Venture and
will see what the Lord's leading is as the end of that year
nears. |

To Do What: |
|
To share the love of Christ with the youth of Russia.
This is accomplished by building relationships with students
in public schools by helping with English lessons.
Then, once we’ve gotten to know them, we invite them
to weekly youth meetings where we can evangelize with them.
We’ll also hold outreach projects – after school
activities and clubs, English Camps, youth retreats, theme
nights, and game nights.
Smaller discipleship groups and Bible studies can be
established for those who want more in-depth study.
There is a core group of student leaders who we
specifically work with to train them to work with the
students who attend the youth meetings and to lead
discipleship groups and Bible studies. |
