Reporting to the Community:
Stage 2 of the "La Trobe" Project
In a follow up to the Cyprus Conflict Resolution Workshop in April, co-onvenors Dr Michalis S. Michael and Mr Tümer Mimi announced today stage 2 of the "La Trobe" project which will commence on Saturday, 26 August, with an open forum.
The open forum will report on the discussions and outcomes of the two-day workshop at La trobe University which took place in April this year.
Dr Michael stated that 'it was always intended that stage 2 of the "La Trobe" Project would be an open forum discussion in which the broader community could participate.'
Co-Convenor Mr Mimi added that all Cypriot communities, as well as all other interested individuals, are welcome to attend on Saturday 26 August.'
The open forum will take place on:
Saturday, 26 August, between 1.00 and 5.00 p.m.
at the Radio Theatre, Building 9,
RMIT University, City Campus, Bowen Street
(entrance through Franklin Street or La Trobe Streets). |
The Open Forum is being organized with the assistance of Dr. G.Etmektsoglou, lecturer at La Trobe University and University of Melbourne, Professor Desmond Cahill of the Department of Language & International Studies, Faculty of Education, Languages and Community Services, RMIT University.
