Live, Love, and hate – by Orpheus

Supplement 5 – More on Love

Requisite Disclaimer: I do not know what I’m talking about. I make it a policy to never know what I’m doing. If you listen to my advice and screw up big time, it ain’t my fault.

Damned magical nitro! Every frickin’ time I get that far in Castlevania: Legacy of Darkness, I always get stuck on the magical nitro part for, like, a week because of those damn skeletons in motorcycles with machineguns. How am I supposed to not get hit when there’s a spray of automatic fire coming at me? *sigh* Ah well, I always get past it eventually. Can’t wait for the next Bella Morte CD to come out. But that’s not until next month still… And I also hate the Orpheus group (the White-Wolf game). At today’s session, two of the players weren’t just unproductive, they were anti-productive. One of them just sat around and quoted Ed, Edd, and Eddy the whole time, and then complained when I asked him to try next time because supposedly “he couldn’t do anything” when, in fact, he had one of the most useful characters there.

Oh, yeah, I have a column to do. Well, let’s get to the subject of love again. I know I did a column on love earlier. I also know that my column on love last time said absolutely nothing. That being said, here’s what I hope to accomplish this time: nothing. That way, I can always at least meet the goal.

Well, where should I start? Hobbit seems to be under the impression that you have to wait for love. That ain’t true. You have to try and find it. Ain’t nobody just gonna walk up and say they love you. Y’all gotta get to know ‘em first. I mean, it COULD happen with someone you don’t know just up an’ sayin’ it. But when that happens, people tend to get all freaked out, kinda like K did.

And you know what? If you’re tired of just being ‘the cute one’, and not loved ‘cuz of that, just leave ‘em behind. I mean, if you’re not being treated how you want to be, then why stay there? You have to learn to let go of the past. The past is just that, the past. It’s not the present, nor is it the future. There’s no point in wasting all your time regretting what you’ve done, or what others have done, because there’s no way that you’re gonna be able to go back and fix it. And you say that I’m an idiot.

Well, yeah, that’s about all I have to say. For supplement 5, this is Orpheus, signing out.
