Week 31 – Okay, what’s with people and that priest on Inuyasha?

(9/24/04, one year after the incident) Seriously, I mean, I saw one episode of the show, and I really didn’t care much for it, everyone just kept repeating everything. But, anyway, when I was talking to my friend Karol the other day, he just brings up that priest dude out of nowhere. But really, he was the only character that I cared much for. And then, when I’m talking with C today, she just all of a sudden asks me if I’ve ever seen the show, tell her what I said in the first sentence of this column, and then she goes and compares me to the priest.

Oh, speaking of C, she really reminds me a lot of myself, but man can she ever be a bitch. I mean, we were talking about homecoming today, and she’s all ‘I turned down two guys’ (okay, this isn’t exactly how it went, but close enough), and I’m like ‘why?’, you know, still thinking very much along the lines of “be grateful if anyone notices that you exist”, anyway, she says ‘well, one of them was a friend who just wanted a date cuz everyone else is pairing up’, and I’m like ‘well, what about the other?’, and she’s all ‘well, I don’t really know him’,  so I ask why she turned him down, I mean, yeah you don’t know him, but you have to meet somehow, so she’s all ‘well, I don’t like wearing dresses, and we’re supposed to’. So I’m just biting my tongue, thinking of hitting her and shouting “since when do you of all people give a fuck about what you’re supposed to do?”. I didn’t, though, I think I should have.

I should probably trim my toenails. I mean, it’s been a while since I have, and they’re starting to grow off to the side of my toes. Hmm, after thinking about what I said in the previous column I have come to a conclusion, which I will explain semi-logically. A) C is much like myself. B) C is bitchy. Does A+B = Orpheus is bitchy? I do not know, and I should probably stop sitting like this, it’ll be Hell on my posture. But sitting up straight (as I am doing now), is just so much less comfortable.

Okay, um… just once more for clarification, the person previously referred to as L is, from this point forward, to be called N. This will be slightly confusing to any of you who read this column (yeah, like anyone reads it), and is involved in the Neurosis project, which is on occasion referred to simply as N because I don’t like typing out Neurosis all the time, it gets kind of annoying and I’m never sure if I spelled it right.
