Live, Love, and Hatred – by Orpheus
Week 28 – Later that Night
Well, we begin with the life of Orpheus. My first comment is that being back in school sucks. I mean, I’ve been in school for a week now, and I’ve already got a test tomorrow, had a quiz today, and all that fun stuff (not to mention homework on the first day, ick). Next, I’d like to say that I really don’t like the number 28, it’s not that I have any reason to dislike it, it’s just that I think it’s a rather ugly number. Now, on to the rest of the column, which is a continuation of Phoenix & Fennris.
It was well past the children’s bedtime, but they weren’t tired yet, nor had they been sent in for the night. The little girl pulled the blanket tighter around herself as the fire began to die. She took one last sip of her cocoa before putting it down to never pick it up again.
Screw that. I don’t wanna write another Phoenix and Fennris, it was good the first time, and I ain’t gonna be the one to screw it up. Of course, just by reading the above paragraph, one can assume that I already did screw it up, so I guess I will be the one to screw it up and I’m rambling again, somebody stop me before I lose all track of reality and anything other than my keyboard, wow my fingers look weird moving around the keys like this.
I haven’t talked with C in a while, so I should really get on that, and the only time I’ve seen L since school got out is when she accidentally walked into my German class on the second day of school, unfortunately I pass K every day on my way to honors geo, so that’s not good, um, still converse with R regularly, um… spoke with J just the other day, things aren’t going too well for her, it sounds like. Haven’t seen First J in over a year, and that’s it for this one.
