Week 19 – A Short Essay On Why Samecool Should Not Be Allowed to Live

I’ve been promising Samecool for quite some time that I’d write a little something like this. Not quite so extreme, though. What I’d been promising to write was “Samecool is a Heartless Bastard”. But hey, in light of recent events, both related to him and not related to him, I’ve decided to write it like this, a bit more, I don’t know, angry for lack of a better word.

Now, I believe that I should begin with why I compare him to K. Samecool is just as cold and heartless, in my opinion. This stems from his relations with one of his “letters”, M. I think I’ll post a brief recap from Deliverance, for those of you who don’t remember it. The paragraph regarding M and Q went like this: “Samecool has a couple of his own letters, M and Q. Resumption the day after that. In short, Samecool had to break M’s heart. It wasn’t fun for him, and I think he realizes that it hurt her a hell of a lot more. But the thing is, he really can’t understand how much she hurts. What he did was really similar to what K did to me… so I can’t say that I respect him very much any more. But, I suppose he did what he really had to. He told M that he loved her, and he really didn’t; he loved Q. I’m not saying that what he did was right, mind you. He never should have told M that he loved her if he wasn’t being completely honest. If he was even a bit unsure, he shouldn’t have done it. I’m sorry, man, but it was just so heartless…”

Of course, as I recall, this wasn’t the end of the whole thing. Later on (keep in mind that this is all coming out of my hideously inaccurate memory; I would ask Samecool, but he’s on vacation while I’m writing this), he tried to ‘undo’ his mistake. Once again, he… oh you get the point.  This column’s sucking even more than I thought it was going to, but you know what? I can cut it off whenever I want to because Samecool stopped paying, the son of a (much mumbled swearing).

Oh, yeah, one more thing. He violated one of those things that you just don’t do. You don’t expect Tim to blindly follow orders, you don’t expect Kristofer (yes, that’s his real name) to be calm, sane, and/or pacifistic, and most importantly of all, you DON’T distrust me. I never open my mouth unless I know what I’m talking about (except here in LLH), and even when I DO talk and I’m not sure about something, I always mention that I’m ignorant about the subject (see the disclaimers on all Supplements except 4, or in the paragraph above this one). Especially when it comes to Norse mythology. I know what I’m talking about there, hell, I can even tell you the name of Thor’s hammer, Mjolnir (well, that’s how it’s pronounced, I’m not quite sure on the spelling).

God, I sound like I’m drunk or something. I’m not, though, rest assured of that. That sort of thing just isn’t what I do, no drugs and no alcohol, unlike some of my friends (most notably Kenny Kilmer, who’s been an alcoholic since around the fourth grade). Not to mention a few others…
