Dragon Half
Half Human. Half Dragon. ALL TROUBLE!

YEAH!!! This is great!!!!! I absolutely loved every minute of this anime, even though it's subtitled! Dragon Half is probably one of the funniest animes out there. AD Vision are releasing a dub of it soon, so I'm looking forward to it!

Well, Dragon Half really is a great anime. You'll laugh until you cry. The slapstick really shows what anime can do that live action can't, and the characters are the best I've ever seen!

A long time ago, a warrior was sent by the king to slay a dragon, however, things wen't terribly wrong and the warrior fell in love with the dragon. -_-; They then got married and the result was Mink! Now Mink, like every teenage girl, is crazy about a pop star. His name is Dick Saucer, and he is, unfortunately, a dragon slayer. The king wants to kill Mink's father for marrying the dragon instead of slaying it, so he wants to capture Mink. After failing with his first warrior, the very stupid Damaramu, He gets Dick Saucer to get Mink. He tells him she's a dragon in desguise and will pretend to be a fan in order to get close to him. Mink has no Idea that Dick is trying to kill her, and she ends up entering a deathmatch contest for money. That's about it. The story doesn't end with Mink and Dick or anything like that, but it's still a good ending. Heh-heh and a nice little finish from Mink.

The ending credits song is crazy and doesn't make any sense.(e.g. "I'll give you the octopus, I don't like the way it looks") The background music during the anime is really good. During the action scenes, there's some really good music.

The only problem is that it's subtitled, but ADV are making a dubbed version soon, so no worries! Dragon Half is a brilliant anime, good action and hilarious humour. If you don't like crazy slapstick or can't stand SD artwork then you might not like it. But most people will love this one!
