After seeing the trailer for this on Dirty Pair Flash I really wanted to check it out. Burn-up W is one of the better known comedy animes and is very enjoyable.
Burn-up W, although it seems to be just another of those nothing-special
OAV serieses, is actually a great comedy. It seems to take the usual anime jokes and
change them or just carry them out in a much funnier way. I'll say that this reminds me a
lot of Phantom Quest Corporation, without all the supernatural stuff - it is in 4
parts, or "Files" and the characters all seem to enjoy their job and

There isn't much real violence or punch ups, this is more of a comedy about Team Warrior and their job rather than about who will win. Burn-up W will show the police doing nude bungee-jumps and any other crazy things the criminals may want and will focus on that rather then focusing on actually saving the hostages
All in all, Burn-up W is a great series that never takes anything seriously and is an excellent comedy, just don't be expecting explosive action.
