Samba, 5 year old son of a Gambian father and German mother, was born and lives on the west coast of Africa in a country called The Gambia.
Omar, Samba's friend, has African parents.
Anna is also Samba's friend. Her parents are European but live and work in The Gambia.
Samba's father is a musician and accompanies Samba and his friends on a musical adventure set by the mighty River Gambia.
Sambas father plays the guitar.
Omar plays the balafong.
Anna plays the triangle.
Samba plays the drum.

Very soon, people around the riverside are drawn to the scene.

Omar, Samba, Anna and friends are dancing and singing, and you the reader are called upon to participate.......
The picture book contains 18 A4 illustrated pages with short child orientated text.

The Picture Book is prepared in both English and German.
