The Ghosts of Dickens's Past
From classroom to classroom, she lurked, secretly deceiving parents and sucking the life out of innocent children, making them mindless droids trained to obey every insane whim uttered from her foaming mandibles. These are the stories of portables past, pieced together from messages scrawled on scraps of history study guides. You can actually feel the turbulent emotions of these panic-stricken children.

"Jan. 15, 1987
I can take it no longer. She is gradually striping away are innermost beings. There are only a few in our shabby band of resistors. I've been struck partially deaf from the shouting. Oh! The shouting! the shouting...the shouting......"
[this note was found on top of a ceiling tile in the same classroom above]
"march 8
it's becoming harder to think. harder to see clearly. i'm the only one left. the only sane one. i know i won't make it. i can feel the pulling of her evil forces. i'm writing this note to warn others in her path of destruction. DON'T GIVE IN!!! dont....give....in....."
[this note was found inside the walls of a portable]
"Day 234
...at least that's how many days are scratched into my desk. It's hard to keep track of the days. My only mission in life is to make it through the year. I'm beginning to see that my goal is unattainable with each passing minute. My school life is ruined, my home life is crap, I'm about to give up, and all I've got out of school is an ulcer."
[this note was found in a secret compartment under the above portable's floor]
"i'm writing this for future victims of this monster. Resist the BELL!!! the power of THE BELL is evil black magic! run from the Bell!! Bell is evil! Bell is evil!!! it will brain wash you! Cover your ears! it will melt your brain! i made that mistake!! Oh no! she comes!!"
These handwritten scraps of paper reveal the mental pain and torture that the authors endured. Sadly, none of them survived. They were either turned into mindless droids or became schizophrenic. Whatever way they ended up, no one was ever the same. Sometimes forced to suicide, many of the victims' notes were taken up, so we only have a small part of the big picture. Hopefully we will all survive and not spend our lives as robots or spend all of our salary on depression medicine. May we all be free of this inhuman creature!!!
Stay tuned for Part 3 of the story "Sith Lord: Darth Dickens", called "The Ghosts of Dickens' Past!"
