This is my family. My daughter Julianna and my husband Tendayi a.k.a "T". We've been married almost 2 years. We got married August 16, 2004 during summer break from college. We dated 2 years before that. We met at college, Vincennes University, while studying to get our associates degrees. Mine is social work, his in business admin. |

To the right is my brother Jackie.. before he became disabled. I love this picture of him. He was just starting to turn his life around. He was in school, working, and having fun. Then less than a year later he got sick and couldn't walk anymore. He is basically going to be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life b/c of a spinal defect.
Below is my mother and my husband. My mother is also disabled, though she can still walk better than my brother, it is also a spinal defect. She is on oxygen full time now too, but has been smoke free. |

Both these pictures were taken Aug. 2003.The girl next to me is Melissa Riser, one of the girls I dormed with and moved into a house with. Thewother girl behind me is a long time friend who went to college with me. We dormed in the same room and house. We all moved outta the dorms in May after our first year. Let's just say we didn't agree with the rules. |

Above is my daddy. He is the best man I have ever known. I didn't realize how great a father and husband he was until recently. I am proud of him and greatful for him. Especially, since I treated him so badly growing up. He is and will always be the best man I know. |

I really wouldn't consider the one a friend. Let's just say the house ended up to be a BIG mistake and we lost touch. I still talk to Kimmie. The one in back, though our friendship ins't quite the same. We've drifted apart, especially now that we both have our children to take care of. She has 3 boys, never gave birth to one of them, but nevertheless they are hers. You could say she adopted them. |
