DECEMBER 24, 2001: PARADISO PERFORMANCE: At December 26th Junkie XL will do a performance at Earth in Paradiso, Amsterdam. Be there, because Tom Holkenborg will do some tracks of the upcoming album "Red Heat"! Besides Junkie XL, there will also be performances of Anthony Pappa and DJ Per.
DECEMBER 24, 2001: MERRY CHRISTMAS: The Junkie XL team wants to wish everybody a Merry Christmas. DECEMBER 14, 2001: PARTYSCENE INTERVIEW: The interview Tom did for the mailing letter from Partyscene earlier this month has now been sent to anyone who subscribed to the Partyscene mailing letter.
DECEMBER 04, 2001: FIRST NEWSLETTER: The first Junkie XL Newsletter has been send to all the people who subscribed to it. You can still subscribe to it at the mainpage. DECEMBER 01, 2001: SASHA COLLABORATION: Tom expanded his collaboration with Sasha. He has now co-produced most of the tracks on Sasha's new album. NOVEMBER 30, 2001: NEW ALBUM: The new album is really shaping up. There will be some mental vocals on them.
For example Saffron, singer of the band Republica, has allready done a
session in Amsterdam. Adding a great vibe to the album with the track "Crusher".
NOVEMBER 30, 2001: PARTYSCENE INTERVIEW: Recently Tom did an interview for the mailing letter from www.partyscene.nl. This interview, together with other information, will be send to all people who signed up for their mailing letter. You can sign up at www.partyscene.nl and see the interview somewhere in the second week of december.
NOVEMBER 29, 2001: REMIX SECTION: The remix-section has been updated. There are currently 30 Junkie XL fanmixes of the track "B Y Whop To The Y" available. Please don't only look at the Top 10 downloads but also listen to the other remixes!
NOVEMBER 06, 2001: NEW TOURDATES: There are 2 new tourdates available. At December 26th Junkie XL will do a try-out at Earth, Paradiso. At new year's eve Junkie XL will play in Los Angeles at Hollywood BLVD (to be confirmed). OCTOBER 22, 2001: KREMLIN PICTURES: Some pictures of the Kremlin-performance have been added to the site. Of course you can also still upload all Junkie XL pictures you want to add to this site. SEPTEMBER 27, 2001: JUNKIE XL POLL: From now on you can show your opinion using the new Junkie XL poll. At the moment, you can vote how often you would like to receive "The Junkie XL Newsletter". So for the people who are already subsribed to the newsletter, please let us know how often you'd like to receive it. The poll will change every now and then, so keep checking it.
SEPTEMBER 25, 2001: NEW JUNKIE XL SITE: There's a new Junkie XL site online now. On this Junkie XL Startpagina (Dutch) you'll find over 100 links to all kind of Junkie XL related stuff. This site is in cooperation with the Junkie XL Fan Club (also Dutch) which has been raised a few months ago.

SEPTEMBER 12, 2001: JUNKIE XL AND DJ TIËSTO: Junkie XL and the respected Dutch DJ Tiësto (just started his 2001 solo-tour) made a track together. The track is called "Obsession" and will be released on Tiësto's solo-album (October 23rd). Probably there will also be a very limited 3LP with a long version of "Obsession" on it.
AUGUST 25, 2001: JUNKIE XL AT DRIVEN SOUNDTRACK: Junkie XL will probably appear on the soundtrack for the movie "Driven" with Sylvester Stalone, Burt Reynolds and Estella Warren. More info will come. AUGUST 25, 2001: TOURDATES CANCELLED: Junkie XL cancelled all upcoming tourdates which were planned for the rest of the year. Tom wants to spend more time in the studio working on the new album "Red Heat". AUGUST 23, 2001: JUNKIE XL ON "SOUL ASSASSIN" SOUNDTRACK: Junkie XL appears on the soundtrack for the Dutch movie "Soul Assassin". On the soundtrack are 5 Junkie XL tracks: "Action Radius", "Synasthesia", "Legion", "Dance USA" and the vinyl version (over 11 minutes) of "B Y Whop To The Y". Other tracks on the soundtrack are by Dilana Smith, Dislocated Styles and Soulfly. The movie will be released in Dutch theaters today. The soundtrack has been released at August 17th. 
JUNE 12, 2001: NEW 12" CALLED "RED HEAT": Junkie XL will release a new 12" called "Red Heat" in September. Side A will contain the track "Red" and side B will contain the track "Heat". JUNE 12, 2001: DOWNLOADING STATISTICS AND PRIZES: The team is working on the downloading statistics for the fan-remixes of "B Y Whop To The Y". Soon there will be a different "fairer" system for it. Junkie XL also wants to assure the remixers that the prizes WILL be given away to the best remixer soon. JUNE 12, 2001: JUNKIE XL AND SASHA: Junkie XL made a track with DJ Sasha, a respected progressive DJ from the UK. JUNE 08, 2001: JUNKIE XL AT TMF: Tomorrow night (June 9th) Junkie XL will be the guest of Jeroen Post in his program "Club Delicious". The program will start at 9:00 PM at The Music Factory. JUNE 02, 2001: JUNKIE XL ON THE "GINGER SNAPS" SOUNDTRACK: Junkie XL appears on the soundtrack of the horror-movie "Ginger Snaps" with the track "Action Radius". This soundtrack will be released at June 26th by Roadrunner Records. Some other artists that appear on this release are Godhead, Soulfly, Fear Factory, Machine Head and Cradle Of Filth. MAY 29, 2001: JUNKIE XL WINS THE AWARD FOR "BEST LIVE ACT": Junkie XL won the Lucky Strike Dance Award for "Best Live Act". This was announced last Wednesday in Amsterdam Studio's. APRIL 20, 2001: GATECRASHER AT RADIO 538: This saturdaynight (April 21st) you can listen to the performance that Junkie XL gave at Gatecrasher (UK) last friday. This will start at 23:20 at Radio 538 (Van Diepens Dance Department). You can hear some unreleased stuff that Junkie XL played there. APRIL 19, 2001: REMIX AND PICTURE SECTION ONLINE! The mixing-section is online now! So don't hesitate to download the samples and mix your own track. The samples are from the new Junkie XL track "B Y Whop To The Y". You can send your remix to Junkie XL and compete for an assortment of prizes! There's also a new picture-upload section at which you can upload your Junkie XL pictures and watch the pictures uploaded by other fans. Check the gallery-section for more info. APRIL 04, 2001: "OP WEG NAAR STADSKANAAL" STARTS TODAY: The so called project "Op Weg Naar Stadskanaal" starts today with a preformance of Dreadlock Pussy and Zea in Studio Amstel, Amsterdam. From now on, you can read everything about it on the Stadskanaal website. MARCH 29, 2001: ORDER THE NEW JUNKIE XL 12" NOW: Now you can order the new Junkie XL 12" called "B Y Whop To The Y". Official release is set on April 30th and you can pre-order it at the Merchandise-section. The b-side is "Siyncho". MARCH 26, 2001: JUNKIE XL AT "OP WEG NAAR STADSKANAAL": Junkie XL will be part of a project called "Op Weg Naar Stadskanaal", which will start at April 4th. Together with the Dutch bands Dreadlock Pussy and Zea, Junkie XL will be followed for about 12 months. You can read, hear and watch the report on internet (Op Weg Naar Stadskanaal), radio, television and phone. More info will come. JANUARY 30, 2001: JUNKIE REMIX OF "VOGUE": Junkie XL made a remix for the Japanese track called "Vogue" from Ayumidi Hamasaki. JANUARY 30, 2001: SOUNDTRACK OF "BULLY": Junkie XL did a demo for the new film "Bully", which is from the same director as the movie called "Kids".
