| 5/14/2001: Classes are finally over. Sam aced both of hers and who knows how I did (rough final). Getting ready to celebrate our one year aniversary. In hockey I joined a roller hockey league and lit it up in our first game with four assists and was second star of the game. There are some great new pieces. 5/02/2001 I know its been a while (Great song by Staind) but Sam and I are finally having our lives slow down a little. Classes are coming to an end, Sam has aced both of hers of course and I have an A in mine for now. Been real busy outside work and class too, I played in a hockey All-Star game and skills competion. I placed second in fastest shot competion with a 78 mph slap shot (it was probably closer to 100 mph but the gun must have been off). Sams comment - Whatever! Went to Atlanta two weekends ago to visit Chad, Molly and Matt. We had a great time and are looking foward to going back. Pictures can be found on the photo page. The world tour document is also up.. Click here to view.. It was a long but fun weekend as we are now poster children for sleep depravation. Gotta stop coming in at almost 5 am. Getting ready to go to see Chad, Molly and Matt in Atlanta soon. Also planning another trip for May or June depending on Sam as she has been invited to go to a wedding the weekend before Memorial Day. It may be a surprise appearance. Missed work today too, somehow screwed my back up Sunday night. No clue what happened but I could barely move all day its starting to feel better I can at least sit in a chair now. Also had an interesting experience last Friday. Coming home from work during rush hour, I was cruising along at a high rate of speed when someone either hit another car or stopped dead and to make a long story short the bitchen Camaro went out of control and I spun across 3 lanes of traffic thru some barrels, back out of the barrels and ended up sideways blocking two lanes of traffic...There must have been an angel on my shoulder as somehow did not hit anything. Don't think I want to try that again. Also everyone should go check www.bradlauster.com as he has redone his page and is having a party tonight (I may be a little late Brad). Its pretty cool. Got a CD Burner last weekend and love it so far getting a scanner soon too so we will put up all the wedding proofs for people. 4/11/2001: Okay Okay, I know its been a while since we updated so here ya go. Finally I have uploaded the Iggy Pics and the final Iggy World Tour document. Click here for the world tour and go to the Photo Album section for the pics Chad, Molly, Sam and I took. For a quick explanation Chad came up with the idea of stealing a co-workers toy and taking pictures of it in weird places then emailing her the pics as if Iggy went on a vacation. The world tour was the last document put together.. Chad and I did the text and Dwyane did the pics which are 1000x better than the text. I know some pictures are missing but I will add them as/if they appear. Also included pictures of me playing hockey in the Photo Album Section linked off the next page. We ended up finishing third and I had a goal and two assists in the final game. I think I finished up 7th overall in goals, 15th in points and top 20 in assists. Next season starts first week in May as does roller hockey... Bought a pair of hockey blades and getting equipment for it now. Sam is doing great just really busy. She got 100 and an A on her two midterms and has been doing some really cool drawings lately. She will post them when she gets the chance. She also had stiches last week, they came out today. The weather has been great down here and we have been going to Busch Gardens every weekend. Going to Atlanta soon to see Chad and Molly..... Take care and will be added another family and friends page tomorrow or Friday. 3/29/2001: Both of us just finished Mid-terms this week, Sam aced hers I won't know till next week. There will be page updates made in the next couple days. We are adding a couple photo gallerys and some other neat tidbits. Went to Busch Gardens last weekend and it was great, 70 degree day no lines, couldn't ask for much more. Won our hockey game 6-4 and I had one goal and two assists. Sam is making this cool 3-D apple thingy from chicken wire and some other stuff. Will put up pictures when it is done. Have a playoff game this weekend on Sunday morning, we should win but you never know. Check back soon. Also started playing with the movie capabilities of the digital camera click here for my first Simpsons masterpiece. I know its stupid but hey.... 3/20/2001: No new page updates but the Iggy photo album will be coming soon, along with some other photos. Got blown away last night in hockey 12-1, and looks like I'll be joining a roller hockey league soon along with the current league. Sam is still carrying A averages in all her classes. We booked a flight to Atlanta next month to hang with Chad and Molly. 3/15/2001: Well it has been a while since we updated. Nothing too new going on. Missed the christening due to weather and hockey but we did win thta game 4-0 with me picking up 2 goals. I also had another one last Sundy but we lost 10-2. Sam was going to update this page during her break but never got to. We should have one or two more pictures up on her page by Saturday and another photo album. Did go to a Norfolk Admirals game last Friday... good game. Later for now 3/2/2001: Well Sunday is a big day around here. I've got a big hockey game and they are christening the Reagan at the shipyard. GW and Nancy Reagan will be present (as if the traffic isn't bad enough around here). If I can get back from the game in time I'm going and would love to post some picture but they are not allowing any cameras inside. Sam is officially on spring break, and plans on posting some sketches she has done soon. Looks like we are planning an Atlanta trip to see Chad and Molly next month and either another trip to Vegas or Orlando for later spring. |
