To reach the Preserve, If traveling North on I-77 Exit 16B, Sunset Road West, to Beatties Ford Road. Turn Right and proceed North for 4.8 miles until you reach Sample Road. Turn left onto Sample Road and continue 1 mile to the preserve entrance. If traveling South on I-77 Exit 23, Huntersville. Turn right off of the exit onto Gilead Road. Take the third left, McCoy Road. At the stop sign, turn right onto Beatties Ford Road. Turn Left onto Sample Road and continue 1 mile to preserve entrance.
Clue:
El caracara crested es el p�jaro nacional de M�xico. Estaba exhibido en
el Centro de Carolina Raptor para el mes de mayo de 2004, y esta caja
fue plantada en la celebraci�n de este p�jaro impresionante. Estacione
en el gazebo de picnic apenas m�s all� del Centro de Raptor. Comience
al paso de peatones y ande a la izquierda en el bosque en el Rastro
Sombr�o. Al segunda vuelta a la derecha, van a la derecha por setenta
pasos. Camina siete pasos m�s a la derecha de el sendero a un �rbol de
cinco. En el centro de este �rbol est� el cajacarta se llama Raptor.
Visita el Centro de Raptor y aprender m�s sobre el caracara crested y
otros p�jaros de presa.
