Sonny Corinthos Quotes:
Carly: You think I'm afraid?
Sonny: I think you've been running scared your whole life
Carly: I don't believe you said that
Sonny: I didn't-you know, I didn't mean to offend you. I mean --
Carly: No, it's just that -- I've often thought about what it would be like if I stopped in my tracks and I, you know, decided to trust someone
Carly: I got you, didn't I?
Sonny: Not yet

Carly: Can we dance at the No-Name?
Sonny: You wanna dance? We'll dance
Carly: You're being awfully nice to me
Sonny: And the night is still young
Carly: Are you watching romantic movies on the sly?
Sonny: Who needs 'em?

Sonny: I don't want to do any more damage

Carly: Anyway, it's good to have you home, safe
Sonny: Well, it's good to come home to you. La-la-la

Sonny: Carly Carly? What was she like?
Carly: Well, she was much prettier than I am and she was much nicer than I am
Sonny: Not as brave
Carly: How do you know?
Sonny: You don't break, Caroline. You might make mistakes, do damage, cut yourself so bad that you bleed, but you don't stop fighting. You're a survivor. And that takes more courage than anything

Carly:  Kiss me...

Carly: I haven't changed in a week. I'm still who I am. The difference isn't here [points to her head]. It's here [points to Sonny]. In my whole life, there has never been anyone who could make me stop and thinknot my mom, not two moms, not the few friends that I've had, not a man
Sonny: Jason?
Carly: No, I loved him, you know, but he could never make me turn around and change my mind that I had set on

Carly: God, this whole place is yours. The people, the plants, the animals, the water, the fish. Things that walk, things that crawl. Everything's yours. Sonny's own private little paradise where he's king of the world
Sonny: You got a problem with that?
Carly (shakes her head): What's important to you besides being in charge?
[Sonny moves in to kiss her]

Carly (breaks off heavy kissing): Can I ask you a question?
Sonny: Can it wait?
Carly: No. How'd you find this place?
Sonny: That can wait

Sonny: What makes you think it's [the island] magic?
Carly: It's the way it makes me feel
Sonny: Which is?
Carly: Happy. Alive, you know, hopefulfeelings I didn't think would ever come back
Sonny: A little sunshine, a little sea, you know, fresh fish expertly prepared, huh?
Carly: Yeah, but it's more than that. It's in the air. I want to say things that I've never said, you know, that I didn't even know before
Sonny: Like what?
Carly: Like you're good for me
Sonny: Good how?
Carly: Like I need you, Sonny

Sonny: You up for a walk on the beach?
Carly: I'd love that
Sonny: You need a wrap or -
Carly: No. If I get cold, I'll just take your shirt

Carly: This has been really great and since it's our last day in Paradise, maybe we should take advantage of it?
Sonny: That an order or a question?
Carly: It's whatever you want it to be

Carly: Because I don't want to fight with you, you know?
Sonny: Feeling's mutual. Now, you want me to drive you to the Brownstone so you can fight with Bobbie instead?
Carly: That'd be nice. The company, I mean.
Sonny: Are you saying that you kind of miss me a little bit?
Carly: Don't get ahead of yourself, OK?

Carly: Thanks for driving me home. I guess I should break down and learn how to drive
Sonny: I wouldn't advise it
Carly: Why? Think I'll aim my car at whoever I'm mad at?
Sonny: Mow them right down. Then where would you be?
Carly: Rescued by you, I imagine

Carly: I don't want to adjust. She doesn't want to, either. She wants me out of here so she can do the horizontal
boogie with Roy at will
Sonny: Nothing wrong with that

Carly: Hey
Sonny: It's about time you showed up. You look good
Carly: Thank you

Sonny: OK. I'll put the money together. You'll have it in a day or two
Carly: Thank you, Sonny
Sonny: Now that we've got that settled, how about dessert?

Carly: For once. And we didn't fight at all today. And, you know, maybe we could have a warm, fuzzy moment before I move out. Stranger things have happened
Sonny: Aim for the stars?
Carly: Never come up with a fistful of mud
Sonny: That's the ticket. Ahem. Tonight was nice
Carly: Yeah
Sonny: Yeah

Carly: For me, too
Sonny: Thank you for dinner, Michael. See you again real soon, buddyThank you, too
Carly: You are the one who slaved over the hot stove
Sonny: That's true
Carly: And dinner was yummy, as usual. You know what -- it might be good if you had an occasional failure every
now and again because you're awfully smug, you know that?
Sonny: Yeah?
Carly: Yeah
Sonny: In a good way, though
Carly: Oh, yeah? You think so, huh?

Sonny: Colonial
Carly: Yeah. It's kind of homey, huh?
Sonny: Yeah
Carly: I like this one, too. It's got a huge back yard
Sonny: Mm-hmm. Fairacres Road. A little remote, don't you think?
Carly: Well, they have a school bus. I checked
Sonny: Michael old enough for that, or --
Carly: No, he's not, but, you know, later. I mean, down the road a couple years
Sonny: Oh. Planning ahead. That's new for you
Carly: Yeah, that's me. New and improved
Sonny: Yeah

Carly: Where did everybody go?
Sonny: Ah, they bailed. Yeah
Carly: Oh, great. A nonwedding followed by a nonreception
Sonny: Well, I mean, you know, we can still celebrate, if you're in the mood
Carly: How?
Sonny: Name it. What do you want to do?

Carly: Surprise?
Sonny: You look great. That's not a surprise

Carly: You have to admit -- I know how to pick a good champagne, don't I?
Sonny: Well, you know, it came from my wine cooler
Carly: Yes, but there were several other choices, and I did pick a good one. Admit it
Sonny: You are right more often than you give yourself credit for
Carly: Don't you mean more often than you give me credit for?

Sonny: All right. You know what? Since it's your night, you get to win all the arguments
Carly: You see how much easier it is when you let me have my way?
Sonny: All right. If you're going to have your way --
Carly: Mm-hmm?
Sonny: What do you want to do next?
Carly: Let's see. I think that you should dance with me
Sonny: Hmm.
Carly: See, we're always getting interrupted, and I'm starting to think that maybe you have this deep, dark secret and you have no rhythm or two left feet
Sonny: You're just going to have to find out

Sonny: Thank you for dinner
Carly: It was my pleasure, really. It's actually nice to do something for you for a change
Sonny: You do plenty for me
Carly: Yeah?
Sonny: Yeah.

Carly: Carly Benson, domestic goddess
Sonny: No, I don't mean just, you know, cooking dinner, making sure my laundry's clean. I mean, like, you make an ordinary day into something special. Like tonight, you know? You never know what's going to happen when you're around. I kind of like that
Carly: Yeah?
Sonny: Yeah

Carly: I thought it kind of made you want to wring my neck
Sonny: No. You got a gorgeous neck

Carly: She [Bobbie] wanted to get us a wedding gift, but I couldn't think of anything that we needed because we definitely don't need anything in the kitchen and --
Sonny: Right
Carly: We got towels for days and rugs and art and chairs and furniture and -- can you think of anything you want?
Sonny: Hmm. Um -- as a matter of fact, yeah
Carly: Yeah?
Sonny: Yeah
[Kiss!]

Sonny: They both look great
Carly: First time in history -- you don't have an opinion?
Sonny: Well, they're your clothes
Carly: Well, I'm asking you what you think. How about if I try it on? Would you unzip me?

Carly: Johnny? Drive us around the lake
Sonny: Johnny? Go ahead and drive around the lake till I tell you to stop. And don't be peeking
Sonny: All right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right, all right. Come here. Whoa. Come on
Sonny: Whoa, whoa. Are you sure you want to do this? Hmm?
Carly: Positive
Sonny: Yeah? All right

Carly: I didn't hear you complaining at the time
Sonny: No complaints
Carly: What about you? Why did you make love to me at all? I mean, why? Thought it was funny? Wanted to see how far I'd get? Cracking yourself up, huh? What's the use?
Sonny: You're asking and answering all the questions. Why don't you give a guy a chance here?
Carly: Johnny?
Sonny: Hey -- I wanted to make love to you because I wanted you. I want you now

Carly: It's supposed to be cold, so don't think that I forgot to cook it, OK? Go ahead and sit down
Sonny: No, I want to pull out your chair for you

Carly: You didn't bring yourself any [ice cream]?
Sonny: Well, I just -- I thought that, you know -- well, we could share
Carly: That is the best idea I think that you have ever had
Sonny: Mmm-mmm. Mmm. Come here, you little --

Carly: Here's one. "Experienced belly dancers wanted." I can do that
Sonny: Anything to keep you out of the warehouse
Carly: Look, what if you built me an office far away from the rest of the main building? And I just -- I could just watch and make sure the workers don't steal anything
Sonny: My workers don't steal. And you're not going to work at the warehouse, ever
Carly: OK
Sonny: End of discussion
Carly: Fine. Guess I better brush up on my belly dancing then, huh? [Carly hums and starts dancing] They'd hire me in less than a second, Sonny
Sonny: Don't even think about answering that ad
Carly: Anything to keep me out of the warehouse, remember? All I need is some of those little finger cymbals

Carly: You don't think I could run a company. OK
Sonny: Based on your vast experience?
Carly: Well, I have got to start somewhere, and the top has the best view
Sonny: All right, I'll tell you what. If it doesn't work out with Deception, then we'll discuss setting you up on your own. How's that?
Carly: Could you try upping the enthusiasm, like, just a little bit?
Sonny: Could you could you try just trusting me a little bit? Believe me, I will get you what you want
Carly: I have what I want. For the first time in my life, I'm not desperate for anything because I have you

Carly: Nobody's ever backed me up the way that you do, you know that?
Sonny: Get used to it, baby

Carly: What do you want to do?
Sonny: I want to sit across the table and be thankful for my beautiful wife
Carly: A table for two or a table for twenty?
Sonny: Doesn't matter as long as you're with me

Carly: You -- you're the best, you know? There's nobody -- nobody that's better for Michael than you. He thinks you hung the moonNo, he does. He thinks you put it right up there in the sky just for him. You know? Everybody listens to Uncle Sonny because Uncle Sonny will take you on a boat ride and take you flying in a plane, take you to magical islands where you build sand castles all day and make fish taste like chicken
Sonny: Michael likes fish
Carly: So does Mommy when Uncle Sonny makes it

Sonny: Well, when I first met you, I was judgmental
Carly: When you first met me? Try like --
Sonny: Try up until we made and lost our child together. Before you stood up and married me, even though you were scared, before I realized you would do anything for your son, before you showed me who you are, Caroline. You are uniqueYou defy categories. And I will look anybody in the eye and say I'm proud that you're my wife

Carly: Now that you've made it obvious how much you adore me, you won't have a problem signing over that 1%, right? Right? What can I do to persuade you?
Sonny: Oh, I'm sure you'll think of something. You're creative that way
Carly: Okay!

Sonny: Well, last time I looked, you were asleep
Carly: Yeah, that's because you kept me up half the night
Sonny: You look rested now
Carly: You know what? Marriage must agree with meGetting used to falling asleep in your arms

Sonny: I thought I was the one being seduced
Carly: You know. You knew what I wanted
Sonny: Every moment

Carly: Ok. How about this -- give me that stock or you sleep alone
Sonny: Well, it's going to be a long, cold winter
Carly: Yeah, it's your choice
Sonny: I'll miss you
Carly: Fine. Ok. You know what? It was good while it lasted

Carly: I'm not making love to you again until we work out this 1% thing
Sonny: Really?
Carly: Yeah
Sonny (kisses her): Yeah? What 1%?
Carly (sighs): Ok, later. Come on

Leaving for the GH Christmas party
Carly: I wish we could stay here
Sonny: Oh, that's no problem
Carly: Really? What are you going to do with me if we stay?

Carly: Alexis made something up because I guess that she was trying to help me, but -- I wish she would've picked some other meaningless thing to say. Because she said that -- that you told her that you wanted her to tell me that -- that you love me. Like you would be thinking about me when you were laying there shot. You were probably telling her these are the orders that you wanted to give to Benny, right?
Sonny: I think I did. Then I realized that I couldn't breathe and I couldn't speak very well, and it occurred to me that I was probably going to die and I didn't want to. Not without telling my wife what she's given me. Not without telling my wife what she is to me. So I grabbed Alexis and I told her to tell you that I love you. Because I love you with everything I have

Carly: Ok, Mr. Corinthos. Time for your nap
Sonny: Stay
Carly: I'm not going anywhere
Sonny: No, you know -- I mean, you know, with me, like right here, close --
Carly: I am not giving you a heart attack
Sonny: Yeah -- no, you're my wife. You're allowed
Carly: It's way too dangerous
Sonny: Maybe, but it's what I need
Carly: Oh, god

Carly: What if all the machines start going off?
Sonny: I don't care about the machines. I want my wife. I need my wife

Carly: Does anything hurt?
Sonny: No
Carly: You expect me to believe that? Come on
Sonny: You can make it better

Carly: So, how's your heart rate?
Sonny: What, you plan on taking my pulse?
