(Disclaimer: This story involves the spanking of a minor child and an adult female.  If you do not like spanking stories, I suggest you leave now.  This is an emotionally packed story.  If you are only here for a quick spank story, you’ve come to the wrong place.  All characters are of the author’s imagination.  Any similarity to real people is surely a coincidence.  {grins} This story is dedicated to my new family.  I love you.  :) sam)

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
It was just Lizzie and Melinda, alone, for the longest time, for as long as Lizzie could remember.  Of course, Lizzie was only six years old, so she didn’t have much to remember.  Melinda was 22.  She had come home from college at the age of 19 to take care of Lizzie when their mother was killed in an automobile accident.
Lizzie and Melinda were best friends.  They did everything together.  Lizzie had no bedtime, no curfew, and no rules.  She thought life was great.  Melinda had no college diploma, no money, and a dead-end job.  But they were happy.
Even with no money, Melinda managed to pay the bills with the trust fund that her mother had left her.  Somehow they got by on chips, soda, candy and cookies.  Every now and then a neighbor would come by with a casserole.  The neighbors were always feeling sorry for Melinda and Lizzie.
Melinda couldn’t understand why.  She thought things were just fine.  They did whatever they wanted and answered to no one.
It was ten pm and the girls were watching the late show.  “I’m going to make some popcorn!” Lizzie announced.
“Yeah, whatever,” Melinda said around her glass of Pepsi.
Suddenly the phone rang.  Melinda picked it up and said, “Yeah?”  She paused.  “Yeah, sorry, hello, sir.”
Lizzie had come into the room just then and looked up at her big sister, shocked by the formality with which Melinda had addressed the person at the other end of the phone.  Suddenly Lizzie wondered if it was the annoying social worker that was always calling.
But it wasn’t.  It was Melinda’s new boyfriend.  Lizzie hadn’t met him yet but Melinda had told her all about him.  He was older, at least 35.  To Lizzie, that seemed ancient.  Lizzie didn’t want to meet him.  She didn’t want to know the person who was taking all the time away from her time with her sister.
“Yes, that’s good,” she heard Melinda say into the phone.  “Okay, pick me up at 10:00? Sure, I can’t wait.”  She hung up the phone, smiling.
“Who was that?” Lizzie asked.
“Dominic,” Melinda said, all dreamy-eyed.
Lizzie groaned.  “Oh please!” she said.  Even though she was only six, Lizzie was a bit beyond her years.  She knew EVERYTHING and wasn’t afraid to say it.  “You gonna get all kissy faced with this guy, Lin?”
Melinda smiled.  “Yep.  He’s so great, sis.  I can’t wait til you meet him.”
“When am I gonna meet him?” Lizzie demanded, stamping her foot.
If Melinda noticed her little sister was getting cranky, she didn’t let on.  “Tomorrow afternoon, when you get home from school.  He’s coming at 10 am and we’re spending the whole day together.”
“Don’t you gotta work?” Lizzie asked.
“Nope, took the day off.  Course, I told Dom that my boss GAVE me off,” Melinda said, smiling, with a little twinkle in her eye.  “He’d kill me if he knew.  Doesn’t like lying.”
Lizzie shrugged.  Whatever!  She lied all the time, to her teachers, her friends, even to her sister.  Nothing ever happened.  No one ever questioned her.  No one cared anyway.  And there were never any consequences for doing it.  No one ever told her not to do it, not even Melinda.  Of course, Melinda did it all the time, too.
Lizzie went to sleep about midnight.  Her eyes were closing during the late, late show.  She got up, went over to Melinda, leaned down and kissed her on the cheek and announced, “I’m going to bed.”
“Okay, little sis.  See you after school tomorrow.  And don’t forget you’re gonna meet Dom, k?”
“Yeah, okay,” Lizzie said.  She went to her room, put on her pajamas and crawled into bed.  She knew she would have to get herself up in the morning, get herself breakfast, and get herself to school.  Melinda liked to sleep late on her days off.
But the next morning, Lizzie didn’t feel like getting up.  She was tired from having stayed up so late.  So she went back to sleep.  It was only when the doorbell rang, that Lizzie jumped awake.  She looked at the clock.  9:59.  She climbed out of bed and crept to the doorway between the front door and the kitchen.  She couldn’t wait to see what Melinda’s boyfriend looked like.
Melinda pulled open the front door and practically leapt into Dominic’s arms.  “Hi, there, sweetie!” he said in a gruff voice.  At least it sounded gruff to Lizzie who was still behind the kitchen door.  She wasn’t sure what Melinda would say if she caught her there, watching.
“I missed you,” Melinda told him.  “Oh, I have missed you too,” he said.  “You been a good girl?”  She just smiled and invited him in.
Lizzie took a good look at this Dominic.  He was very, very tall.  He had short brown hair, a mustache, and a beard.  To Lizzie, he was a giant.  She thought he looked kind of scary.
She watched them go into the living room.  She ran around the house so that she could peek in at them.  Lizzie wondered if she should make her presence known to the two lovebirds once they started kissing each other’s faces off.
As she thought about it, she let out a loud giggle.  She couldn’t help it.
Melinda jumped back and looked wildly around.  “What the hell?” she screamed.
“Mel!” Dominic shouted.  “Language!”
But Melinda ignored him and turned to face Lizzie, who stood there in just her pajamas.  “What are you doing home?” she asked her little sister, accusingly.
“I, I, I was tired,” Lizzie said, haltingly.  Melinda had never spoken to her in this voice before.  It scared her.
Dominic scared her too.  He was standing next to Melinda with his arms crossed, looking down at her.  She didn’t know what to do so she just looked away.
“Well, go get dressed and I’ll take you to school,” Melinda told her.
“O-okay,” Lizzie said, turning away.  She heard their voices as she walked out of the room.
“That’s it?” Dominic said loudly.  “You’re not going to punish her for trying to skip school? And doesn’t she know better than to eavesdrop on private conversations?”
“Oh, she doesn’t know anything!” Melinda said flippantly.  “It doesn’t matter.  We’ll drop her off at school and then we’ll have our day together, like we planned.”
Dominic shook his head.  “If that was my little girl, she’d be over my knee right about now,” he said.
Melinda knew how Dominic was about following rules.  She tried to distract him and get him back to the loving time they were having.  She leaned over him and kissed him in that special way she had.  “Oh, Dom,” she said.  “Just forget it!  Come on,” she began, not realizing what she was admitting to, “I took the whole day off just to be with you!”
Dominic was momentarily taken aback, but he didn’t say anything.  He was starting to soften when Lizzie came back into the room.  She was dressed in a brown shirt and denim overalls, red socks and white Velcro sneakers.  Her hair was in tangles and in her hands was a poptart.
“Lin, I’ll need a note.  I missed the spelling test.”
Melinda looked at her.  “Oh, okay, bring me your notebook.”
Dominic thought he was going to explode.  “You’re going to write her an excuse for cutting class?” he asked.
“What’s the difference?  The teacher won’t care.  She’ll just make it up,” Melinda said flippantly.
“Mel, we are going to have to talk about how you’re bringing this little girl up.”
Just then Lizzie came back into the room, holding out her notebook and a pencil towards her big sister.
Dom looked down at the little girl.  “Do you have a hairbrush, young lady?”
“Uh, yeah,” she said.
“That’s ‘yes, sir’ or ‘yes, Dominic’.  Got it?”
Lizzie wasn’t sure what he meant but she shook her head yes.
“Go get it please,” he requested.  “And a clip or a scrunchie, too.”
Lizzie looked up at her sister.  Melinda nodded.  Lizzie went to her room and brought back her hairbrush and a purple scrunchie.  Dom pointed to a chair and Lizzie sat down in it.  Dom proceeded to brush the little girl’s hair.
“This one doesn’t match, Elizabeth,” he told her when she offered him the scrunchie.
Elizabeth? No one called her Elizabeth.  The teacher had on the first day of kindergarten the year before, but Lizzie had set her straight.
“I don’t care,” Lizzie said, shrugging her shoulders.
“Well, I do,” Dom said.  “Your socks don’t match either.  You’re to go to your room and put on either brown or blue socks.  Then you can get a brown, blue, or even a white scrunchie for your hair.”
Who was this guy? And why did he care if her socks and shirt and scrunchie matched anyway?
Lizzie wrinkled up her nose.  She didn’t move.  “Go on, young lady!” Dom said, pointing towards her room.  “You’re already very late for school.”
Melinda just stood there not saying a word.  That made Lizzie so mad.  She didn’t have to listen to this guy.  He wasn’t her father.  True, she didn’t know where her father was, if he was even alive or dead, but she knew this guy wasn’t him.
Instead of heading for her room, Lizzie went to the kitchen and poured herself a glass of milk.  She had finished her poptart but was still hungry so she rifled through the cabinets until she found something else.  She was munching the peanut butter cookies when Dominic came into the room.
“Didn’t I tell you to change your socks?” he asked, looking down at her feet. “And what are you eating?” he demanded
Lizzie held up the Nutter Butter.  “It’s a cookie.  Want one?”  When he continued to stare at her, she tried, “Uh, umm, want a cookie, sir?”
When he saw that Lizzie wasn’t moving to obey him and that she was going to continue to eat the cookie, he decided he was going to put his foot down.  He couldn’t take it one more minute.  “That’s it, I have had it!” Dom said rather loudly.
Good, Lizzie thought, he’s leaving.  She looked at him waiting for him to say goodbye to Melinda and go home.  But that’s not what he did at all.  Next thing she knew Lizzie was being carried into the living room.
“Heyyyy!  Put me down!” she yelled.
“I’m going to teach you some respect.”  He sat down and put Lizzie on the floor in front of him.
She had no idea what was wrong with him.  She had called him ‘sir’ after all, hadn’t she?  And she didn’t call anyone sir; not even her principal.  Lizzie waited to see what Dominic was going to do.
First off, he took the cookie out of her hand and placed it on the coffee table.  “We do not eat cookies for breakfast, young lady,” he announced.
“Well, I do,” Lizzie said, reaching once more for the cookie.
“Excuse me?” Dom said, raising his eyebrow.  Even Melinda scolded, “Lizzie!  Be nice to Dominic.”
“Why should I? I don’t gotta.  He’s nothing to me!” she shouted, starting to take off.
But Dominic grabbed her and put her over his knee, so that she was staring at the carpet.
“You are long overdue for a spanking, Elizabeth,” he barked.
A spanking? What on earth was that?  Whatever it was, it didn’t sound like fun.  She struggled and tried to wriggle off his lap, but he held her tight.
“I won’t pull your pants down this time, but you can be sure that if you ever speak to me like that again, your pants AND your panties will go down, young lady.”
Before Lizzie had time to react to what Dominic said, she felt a hard smack to her bottom.  “Owwwwwwwwwwwww!” she screamed.  “Don’t do that.  That hurts!”
“Oh, Dom, no!” Melinda cried.
“Mel, this child is out of control.  She needs this.  If you don’t want to watch, then I suggest you leave the room,” Dom told her.
But Mel didn’t move.  She just stood and watched as Dom rained the spanks down on Lizzie’s denim bottom.  Lizzie cried and struggled trying to get free.
“You are to respect {Smack! Spank!} all adults, {Smack! Spank!} young lady.  NO sassing.  {Smack! Spank!} Also, {Smack! Spank!} there will be no {Smack! Spank!} more poptarts and cookies for breakfast.  {Smack! Spank!} And you’re to get {Smack! Spank!} to school on time.” {Smack! Spank!}
Melinda started to cry as she watched and listened to Dominic.  Perhaps she realized that she wasn’t a very good caregiver to the little girl.  They had always had fun together and she thought that was the best thing.
Lizzie was completely hysterical by the time Dominic stopped smacking her bottom.  He stood her up and handed her his handkerchief.  “Here, now wipe your eyes and blow your nose.”
Lizzie took the proffered hanky and wiped her eyes.  She didn’t do much about her nose.  It was dripping everywhere and she was sobbing.  She looked up at Dominic as she tried to rub the sting out of her backside.  In a way she really hated him.  He had hurt her so much.  But it was weird, in a way she felt like he really cared about her.  She didn’t know why she felt that way, but it felt sort of good.  She couldn’t explain it.
She continued to stand there staring up at him, trying to sort out her feelings.  He leaned down, took the handkerchief from her and put it over her nose.  “Now blow,” he said.  She did, and he wiped her nose.  He lifted her up onto his lap and rubbed her back.
“I’m sorry this had to happen the first time we met, Elizabeth,” he said softly.  Gone was the gruff voice.  He actually seemed sad that he had to spank her.
Lizzie found her voice and said, “It-it’s Lizzie, uh, sir.”
Dominic nodded.  “Okay, then, Lizzie.  You ready to change your socks and go to school then?”
“I guess so,” she said.
Dom sighed.  “Yes, sir,” he reminded her.
“Uh, yeah, right, yes, sir,” she said, sliding off his lap.  She walked towards her room.  Mel stood off by the side.  She didn’t know if Lizzie would hate her or not for letting her boyfriend spank her.  But she wasn’t mad.  She went right up to her sister and hugged her tight.  “I love you, Lin,” she said.
Melinda was taken aback.  She hugged Lizzie back real tight and said, “I love you too, little sis.”
When Lizzie appeared again in the living room, she was wearing brown socks and had a white scrunchie in her hair.  Her face was washed and her bookbag was slung on her back.  “I’m ready!” she announced.
Mel looked at Dom who nodded.  She stood up.  “Okay, let’s go then!  You coming, hon?” she asked him.
“No, you take her and then come back.  I think you and I have some things to discuss,” he said.
Melinda gasped.  She knew what that meant.  Lizzie didn’t, though.  Mel took her sister’s hand and brought her out to the car.  Once they were both buckled in and she had backed out of the driveway, Melinda said, “I’m sorry, Lizzie, that Dom spanked you.  I should have warned you better that he insists on following the rules.”
Lizzie didn’t know what to say.  She couldn’t explain the feelings she had had after he had spanked her.  “It’s okay,” she said.
They drove to the school in silence.  Then Lizzie said, as she was getting out of the car.  “You really like this guy, Lin?”
“Yeah, sweetie, I do.  He’s the best thing that’s ever happened to me.  I can’t explain it.  He just makes me feel so safe and loved.”
Lizzie nodded.  “Yeah, I understand.”
And Melinda was sure that she did.
~~~~~~~~

Melinda drove back home slowly.  She stopped at the grocery store and picked up some healthy lunch items, milk, and some fruits and vegetables.  She got Lizzie some cereal and some other ‘sort of’ healthy snacks.

When she went into the house, she couldn’t believe her eyes.  The rooms were completely clean.  Gone were the pizza boxes and candy wrappers.  Gone was most of the junk food in the closets, Melinda noticed as she put the groceries away.

She saw Dominic then.  He came out of Lizzie’s bedroom carrying a basket full of dirty laundry.  He set it down and went over to Mel.  “We need to talk,” he told her.

“Yes, sir, I know,” she said, reluctantly.  She knew this was coming.  She knew one day she would be brought to task for the terrible way she was raising her sister.

Dom put out his hand and she took it.  He led her back into the living room.  “Sit down,” he told her.  She sat.

“You know that I really care about you, don’t you?” he started.

Melinda didn’t trust herself to speak so she just nodded.

Dom got down and sat next to her.  He turned her to face him.  “I really love you, Melinda Sue.”

“I, I l-love you, too, sir,” she said, tears starting to fall out of her eyes.

“And you know I want to make sure that everything you do is the right thing and the safe thing and the healthy thing, don’t you?”

Again Melinda nodded.  Dom warned, “Mel!”

“Yes, sir,” she answered, dutifully.

“That’s better.”

“I think you know that you haven’t been raising your sister to be very respectful, don’t you? I mean you have a hard enough time yourself doing it.  Isn’t that true, sweetheart?”

“Um, yes, sir,” Mel said.  “I guess I didn’t realize how bad that was.”

“And your boss didn’t give you the day off today, did he, Melinda Sue?”

“N-no, sir.  I took the day off.”

“So you lied to me, didn’t you?”

“Yes, Dom, I’m sorry.”

“You know I don’t stand for lying, especially not from my girl,” he said sternly.

Melinda nodded.  “Yes, sir, I’m sorry.”

“You will be, if you’re not already.  You know what I must do now, sweetheart.”

Melinda stood up.  Dom reached over and unbuttoned and unzipped Mel’s jeans and let them fall to the floor.  Then he reached over and slid her panties down to her ankles.  Melinda then leaned over Dom’s lap as she had so many times before.  In the very beginning of their relationship, Mel found herself in this position a lot, as if she were testing that Dom still loved her.  And he did.  He came back time and time again.

Dom scolded Melinda for letting Lizzie get away with so much.  He talked as his hand kept finding her backside over and over again.  It stung and Melinda had to bite her lip not to cry out in pain.  She was waiting; she knew it would get worse.

And it did.  She heard the familiar sound of his belt leaving their loopholes.  She heard the swish as Dom raised the belt high in the air.  She knew he had doubled it before he raised it.  She heard it.  And then she felt it.

Swoooosh!  {Whack! Whack!} {Whack! Whack!} {Whack! Whack!}

Dom lectured Melinda about the importance of telling the truth, always.  Melinda could stand it no more and she cried out in pain.

“Owwwww, Dom, I’m so sorry.  I’ll never lie to you again.  Pleeease, sir, it hurts!”

After a few more swats with the belt, Dom finally put it down.  He put his hand on Melinda’s backside.  It was hot to the touch.

“You know that things are going to have to change around here, don’t you, Melinda Sue?”

“Y-y-yes, s-s-sir,” she stuttered through her tears.

“The changes will be for the better.  And I’m going to be around to make sure things get done right.”

At that, Dom helped Melinda stand up.  He pulled her onto his lap and cuddled her close.  He rubbed her back and soothed her crying as he would a young child.

“I love you, baby.”

“I love you, too, sir.  I’m sorry that I lied to you.”

He leaned down and kissed her cheek.  “All forgiven now, baby.  Now let’s talk about what needs to be done around here.”

Dom let Mel pull up her panties and jeans, even though it hurt a lot.  She gently sat down on the couch next to him, leaning her head against his shoulder.

“Your sister seemed very tired.  What time did she go to bed last night, anyway?” he asked.

“Late, sir.  After midnight.”

Dom sighed and tsk-tsked.  “That’s much too late for a little girl.  She should have been in bed at 8-8:30 on a school night.  You, too, young lady.  That’s the first thing I’m going to have to insist on...bedtimes.  Lizzie will be in bed by 8:30 the latest, and you will be in bed by 10:00.”

“10:00? But that’s so early!” Melinda whined.

“Excuse me, young lady? Did I hear you say you wanted to be in bed at 9:30?”

“N-n-no, sir, 10:00 is fine.”

“Good, that’s what I thought.  And I will go back to the supermarket with you so we can buy some more healthy food.  I see you made a start; I’m glad to see that.”

“Yes, sir,” Melinda said.

“Now about this respect.  This is something we must work on.  You know that I insist on respect, don’t you, Melinda?”

“Yes, sir.”

“The disrespect your sister showed me will not be tolerated.  Any more offenses like that and she goes right back over my knee.  She will learn not to sass me.”

“She just doesn’t know any better,” Melinda cried.  “Oh, it’s all my fault!”

“Melinda! I want you to listen to me,” Dom said sternly.

“You have done the best you can, I’m sure, for the past three years.  But now I am here to help you.  I will help you be a better role model for her.  All right?”

“All right,” she admitted.

They talked a little more about Lizzie and what must be done.  Dominic knew these two young girls were going to need him close by.  And he was going to make sure he was there for them, too.

The end.
